~~~~Saoirse~~~~
Everything was dark, and I felt so heavy. It was as if I was sinking deeper and deeper into an ocean, where the waves pushed me further and further away from the surface.
I didn't know which direction I was floating, nor where and how I ended up here, but I knew that wherever I was being led it was not where I had to be.
I opened my eyes, seeing the dark murky waters that surrounded me, but I saw a light straight above me. A light that would lead me back home.
I tried to move my arms and legs to swim up, but I could barely move one toe, much less my entire body.
"Not yet..." I said, the bubbles from my breath rising to the surface.
"We can't lose. I will not break a promise."
"And you will not." A familiar voice said through the darkness. I looked up towards the surface light and saw a familiar white jewel.
The Light of Teshiria... I smiled seeing the familiar jewel above me.
"You and you're friends will not fail in protecting your home. I will be right here for you. However, you and the Paladins can not accomplish this alone. You will need the aid of your ship, the Atlas."
"But the Atlas isn't strong enough to take this mech. There is no possible way for them to attack as they are."
"You are correct. They may not be able to attack as they are, so a change is necessary. Focus on the energy of the light above, close your eyes and feel the energy of the Atlas. Connect to it and the one who commands it. Show him the true potential of the Atlas."
The jewel floated over to my chest and returned to its place inside of my body. I closed my eyes and focused my senses to find the Atlas and the one who commands it.
I had to contact my brother.
~~~~Shiro~~~~
The Paladins were down, we had no way of contacting them and the Atlas was about to become the next target.
"Shiro, the shields are gone and we don't have any countermeasures!" Coran shouted, "What do we do?"
"Captain, the cannons are still offline." Iverson shouted.
"It's charging up for another attack! What do we do, Shiro?"
"Shields are offline. Sir, what are your orders?" Veronica asked.
I began to panic. Everything was being muffled together and nothing I said could make it stop. I looked down, not knowing what to do, when I caught a glimpse of my prosthetic arm.
All of a sudden, the console underneath my hand began to glow a cyan blue color. Surprised, I looked up qnd saw that everything in the bridge was glowing the same color, but I was the only one left in the room.
"I'm rerouting power, but we're at least five minutes out!" I heard Commander Holt announce, though I couldn't see him or anyone else.
Just then, I felt something touch my left arm. I looked over to my left, and saw my sister smiling at me.
"Saoirse..." I whispered in shock to see her here. She looked at me and nodded, reaching her hand down to mine.
"Bring the Atlas to the stars. I will guide you on what must be done." She said.
"But what about you and the Paladins?" I asked.
