I sat in my room reading my mother's journal. I had finally made it half way through the journal, reading about what she used to do in her training.

Keith had left to find Shiro again and I wanted to go with him, but since I wanted to learn more about my powers after that alternate reality incident, I decided to stay behind.

I wanted to know what my mother could do, and what her life was like before I was born. Hopefully when I find her and my father, I could possible not be so awkward around them.

I was smiling as I read this entry. She thought about how she could help others and she did it all by herself. I just had to try to see if I could do the same thing as she attempted.

I closed the journal and concentrated on my Teshirian abilities, letting my Teshirian form take form. I closed my eyes and held out my hands, not knowing what might happen as I concentrated.

But suddenly, I felt something take over me. A new kind of warmth that I had never even considered could be real. Everything went quiet around me, all I could hear was the soft beating rhythm of my own heart.
