"Thank you lioness-- Este, Architect Reyes."

Ngumiti ako ng peke kay Mika matapos niya akong pagtawanan. I just handed her a report that she tasked me to do.

"Saya ka??" Tanong ko dito. "Ano kaya feeling maupo sa swivel chair ng Head Architect." Kunwari ay nag iisip ako.

Umirap si Mika. "Pauwi ka na??" She asked at tumango naman ako. "Wait mo na ako, ligpitin ko lang 'to." She pointed at the scattered plates on her desk.

"Too much work, honey butter." I sighed and helped her roll the plates up.

"Ano pa ba gagawin ko??" Tumayo na ito at sabay kaming naglakad palabas ng opisina niya. "Trabaho lang naman," She shrugged.

"Date??" I nudged her shoulder and she just scoffed at me.

"Date your ass," Tumawa ito at naunang maglakad.

I just shook my head and sighed. It was a few years, well, many years since she lost her way. Ever since that she became distant, she became less talkative. At nang magsimula na kami mag trabaho ay halos lunurin na niya ang sarili dito.

Matatalo ko na nga siya sa pagiging maingay sa grupo namin. It was Mika and Ysa who's really talkative but I guess people do change when they get hurt. Well, I didn't.

"Nga pala," Tumigil si Mika nang makarating kami sa tapat ng sasakyan niya. "We're transferring to the main headquarters tomorrow. Paalala lang."

"Malalapit na uli tayo kay Kaileigh," I chuckled.

"Yeah," She smirked. "Nandoon mga engineer," Tumawa ito ng malakas. Iyong mala baliw ba.

"Tsk! Mauuna na ako, ah." Kumaway ako bago lumapit sa kotse ko na katabi lang ng kotse niya.

Pagkasakay ko ng sasakyan ay siyang pagbukas ng makina ng sasakyan ni Mika. Magkasabay na bumukas ang mga ilaw ng sasakyan namin. Napailing ako nang hindi pa ito umalis. Talagang sinabayan niya pa akong magmaneho hanggang sa makalabas ng parking.

Bumusina ng isang beses si Mika bago niya pinaharurot ang sasakyan paalis. Sa isang iglap ay hindi ko na iyon nakita kaya natawa ako.

"Kung hindi architect pwede na maging car racer." I joked.

I drove to my condo and before I got there I first had to overcome heavy traffic. Friday traffic is real in Manila. It was a headache.
