"Knowledge without justice
ought to be called cunning
rather than wisdom."

Clarissa's parents received her grades and were elated with her results. She had received mostly O's, but Herbology and Flying had proven to be her weakest classes. Despite this, Clarissa was satisfied with her performance, especially in Potions and Defence Against the Dark Arts, where she excelled. Despite Professor Quirrell, who always stuttered and hesitated in every sentence he spoke.

Draco, on the other hand, had done exceptionally well in all of his classes, receiving nothing but O's. This made his parents, Lucius and Narcissa, incredibly proud. Clarissa's parents couldn't help but complain about why she couldn't be more like Draco. She was annoyed at this, knowing that her parents had never properly taught her how to fly on a broom. She couldn't help but wonder if they had, she would have done well in the subject and perhaps even enjoyed it.

Blaise had struggled with Defence Against the Dark Arts, often dozing off in class due to its tedious nature and their professor's incompetence. Clarissa and Draco had often tutored him to ensure he didn't fail the class, knowing full well that Mrs Zambini would not take kindly to her son failing a subject. Daphne, like Clarissa, was doing terribly in flying and potions, the latter of which she was particularly scared of since Snape was the head of her house and she didn't want to disappoint him. Despite this, Daphne did well in History of Magic and Transfiguration, two subjects that she found fascinating. Her favourite teacher was Professor McGonagall, even though she was biased towards Gryffindors. Snape, on the other hand, was nothing but intimidating.

Theo enjoyed Herbology and Charms and couldn't understand why others didn't appreciate the subject. He had done decently in Astronomy and Transfiguration, but he found the latter to be incredibly dull, especially when Professor McGonagall assigned so much homework.

As Hallowe'en approached, Draco and Clarissa were stunned to discover that Harry and Ron were still at Hogwarts and hadn't received any punishment for their attempted duel in the trophy room. They hadn't been suspended, put into detention, or had any house points removed. It was as if nothing had happened. The lack of consequences frustrated Clarissa and Draco to no end. They had been so sure that their plan to get revenge on the Gryffindors would work.

Clarissa's heart pounded as she stared incredulously at the sight before her. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. She turned to Draco, her fellow Slytherin, hoping that he could offer some explanation for the madness that was unfolding before them.

"WHAT!" she gasped. "Draco, are you seeing what I am seeing?"

Draco's eyes widened in surprise as he took in the scene before him. "That the blood traitor weasel and Potter are still at school and didn't get suspended? Yep!" he gasped.

Clarissa's confusion quickly turned to anger. "I thought you said that they'd get suspended!?" she argued.

"I told you, Claire. That those 2 idiots wouldn't get suspended, since Dumbledore saved them again as usual. If a Slytherin did that, they would at least have gotten a detention and house points removed. But since they're in Gryffindor, Dumbledore saved them once again," Draco explained, his voice dripping with resentment.

Blaise, another member of the Slytherin house, sneered at them. "Well, it looks like your plan failed, guys, because it looks like they aren't suspended," he said mockingly.

"Shut up, Blaise! You don't think I know that?!" Clarissa shot back, her eyes blazing with fury. "Draco, what do we do now?"

"I think it's about time that we have a chat with Potter and Weasley," Draco said with a smirk.
