LISA COLMAN

I hate him so much!!I hate the way he make me feel. It's like one minute am despising him that even when I feel him breath close to me I wanna hit him with a pan but then the next minute all I want to do is drown in his arms and feel his arms hold me close. How did everything become so complicated in just a month? I was supposed to be his nanny right? I shouldn't have let my guard down because I have been having a crush on him for years

Am here for work and nothing else. It sucks to be me. I wanna quit so bad but I have grown so attached to his little girl that I don't have the guts to be away from her. It'll hurt the both of us. That stubborn six year old is stuck to me like glue but then so is Logan. I think of him every time and I cant control it

"What are you thinking about?" Ella's voice brings back to reality and I find myself smiling at her instead of finding a good excuse of me blacking out

"It's nothing," I say and look towards Logan and Colette. Unfortunately she had to join us today because she'll be having an early flight the next morning. Am not being the bad guy here but am happy that she's leaving...Yes so you can have quality time with Logan

"What..no!!" I blurt out and everyone's eyes turn to me

"Is everything alright Lisa?" Logan asks sounding concerned. This is exactly what I was talking about. Even when he's with Colette there's still a part of me that wants him so bad

"Am fine," I say and turn back to Ella. She was busy playing on her puzzle piece. We have been here for the whole afternoon and I cant wait for the goddamn sun to set. Colette insisted on watching the sunset with her boo. I admit it, I may be a little jealous, she's got what I've always wanted but am not gonna ruin it for her because I want Logan and am not going to lead him on so we have to keep everything professional between us for our own sake

"See this goes here," I say looking at Ella's crooked puzzle, she's supposed to bring the pieces together to form Elsa and the little snowman but that's not it. Ella is not one to play with puzzles I've known that ever since I came to the house. She loves chess but according to Colette chess will wear her out because she's too young to handle all the thinking so we were forced to bring the puzzle set

"Come Ella wanna get some ice cream?" I whisper in her ear so the beastly woman will not hear us

"Yeah," She whispers back. We sneakily tiptoe our way away from the couple and find ourselves strolling around the pack

"You know dad is going to marry her right?" She says suddenly. I squat so am in her position and smile. She's abit mature for her age and she's able to catch up with whatever is going on around her

"Yeah,"

"I don't like her. She's rude and she wear so much lipstick," I try to control the smile that is creeping in my face

"Come on Ella, that's not the way you talk to someone who's gonna be your mum,"

"Dad doesn't like her," Okay it's time we end this conversation

"Okay we are done with this conversation," I say standing up and holding her hand

"He likes you," Her words make me choke on my own saliva. Someone please get me out of this situation

"And who gave you that idea?" I ask trying to act casual

"Because he kissed you," This escalated real fast

"No he did not," Laugh it out Lisa, this is not awkward at all

"I saw you,"

"Enough about this Ella, lets go get the ice cream before stepmom comes and grounds us," I say and carry her in my arms. She saw us kiss. She must think that am some kind of homewrecker or maybe her dad's mistress

I try to dodge the subject of me and her father kissing as much as possible because she couldn't stop talking about it no matter how many treats I bought her

"I wish you were the one who's gonna be my mother," She blurts as she bites on her cotton candy. Sometimes I wish she was a toddler

"Okay come here Ella," I say sitting her down on one of the benches. "Am not gonna be your mother," Her smile fades into a frown and I instantly regret my choice of words. She is hurt but she has to know that Colette is the one

"But... am gonna be your nanny. Not forever but I'll be visiting you every time okay. You have to respect Colette because you're gonna be with her for quite a while," She nods in understanding

"Are you gonna buy me candy when you come to visit, I don't think mummy Colette will ever let me have candy," She says her frown still existing and I laugh

"Of course, any kind you like. All on me," I say gently pinching her cheeks. "Now give nanny a smile," I say and she smiles. "Bigger...good girl. Now finish up so we can go back so we don't get scolded,"

.

"I am done talking about this Colette!!" Logan says his hand roughly gripping on the steering wheel. I have no idea what they're arguing about but am glad Ella fell asleep so she doesn't have to listen to them

"I am not done with this Logan, I'll be away for a while but as soon as am back am gonna make sure you regret it. Be ready Logan because I am gonna plan that party," Colette finally says ending their almost half an hour argument. The ride is silent and the tension is thick I feel like throwing myself out of the moving car. Colette is shooting me glares through the car mirror and as the bad ass I am I am totally ignoring her.

I have so much to talk about but no one to talk to. So much has transpired and right now a wishing that I couldn't have been selected for the job. I was not ready for all this pressure. Where's Belle when I need her

Colette leaves immediately we get back home. She couldn't take another look at us so as I heard she is going to spend her last night in New York at her father's house. My prayers have been answered finally I can have some waffles with no one lecturing me about my health it was exhausting listening to her talk about keeping diet

Logan went straight to his room after dinner and Ella didn't wake up even after we arrived so it's just me in the living room questioning some of my life decisions

"Hello," Her voices echoes on the other side immediately she picks up. "Oh my god I was about to call you, we have so much to talk about,"

"Hello, am doing fine too thanks for asking," I say sarcastically and Belle bursts into laughter

"Oh look at that, sarcastic Lisa still exists. I was thinking she was gonna lay low after being so close with her crush but no...she's still here,"

"Cut it out Belle, anyway how are you doing?" I asks trying not to laugh

"Am fine, it's already so boring here. Next time tell me to not allow my roommate to leave," She says and I hear some shuffling in the background

"Are you ordering take out again?" I ask and she chuckles

"Oh come on, you were the one who made most meals here but now since you're gone I have noone to take care of me,"

"What are you talking about, you're the one with the best cooking skills," I say and settle comfortably on the sofa, this is gonna be a long convo
