(A/N. *Coughs* Well, this is set somewhere around the time of All Might's retirement, meaning he's already fought All For One. Anyways happy reading!)

(Deku's POV)

I panted as I ran along the coastline of the beach I had cleaned up from when I was training my body to be able to wield my new quirk.

All Might was there too, sitting down on the sand, watching the waves.

I smiled. I've come a long way from where I began...

He looked towards me. "Well? Don't just stand there, gonna sit down or what?"

I nodded, sitting down beside him.

"You know, you don't have to follow me wherever I go, right?" He said.

I smiled. "I know. Its just, seeing you around helps me focus on what I'm doing now a days and helps me believe that I can become a hero. You inspire me more than anything. . ." I glance at him before looking at the beautiful scene in front of us.

"I want to spend as much time with you as I can, before...." I stop, looking down at my hands.

"Before I won't be able to anymore."

All Might smiles sadly.

"Let's not think about that too much. I mean, I still have time don't I?"

I glance at him. Its been a few months since Sir Night Eye's passing and All Might hasn't really talked about him. So referencing to his destined future....

I sighed. "Told you, you should've asked him to use his foresight on you again to see if your future has changed." He barked out an airy laugh.

"I'm pretty sure it already has, as you can see, I am here!"

I snickered. "Yeah..."

I inhaled a large breath. We sat there for a while, just watching the waves.

Sometimes, in these moments, I wish we could just stay like this forever.

If only wishes like that could come true....
