I felt like I was gonna pass out the way she gripped my hand. It was hard as fuck! But I could only imagine the pain she was feeling. Tears were streaming down her face as she kept pushing and pushing. My hand went numb from her squeezing it so damn hard. When I heard "I see the head" I swear my knees went weak. I didn't fall to the ground but I fell against the bed. I heard one of the nurses asking me if I was okay. When I heard the cry of the baby I almost passed out. "And she's here" the doctor said as the baby was crying. I sat down in the chair pretty defeated. You could've sworn I'm the one who had the baby and not her.
"Oh baby I love you so much Rayne. I'm so glad that you're here" Selena hugged Rayne close to her. "Would you like some water?" One of the nurses asked Romeo who looked very nauseous. He was rubbing the hand that she was squeezing. Selena kissed the baby's cheek before looking over at Romeo. She saw that he looked nauseous and saw him rubbing his hand. "I'm sorry for squeezing your hand so tight" she told him feeling a little bad. "It's okay" he looked over at her. "Are you okay though. You look out of it" she told him. He told her that he was fine "okay.. well.. would you like to hold her?" Romeo slowly stood up standing besides her. She slowly handed her over to him and watched him hold her. A smile formed on her face as she watched her husband hold their daughter. Suddenly a tear rolled down his face. "I'm so glad that you are finally here. So many amazing things I want to show you. But I'll leave Menstrual to your mother" he joked with Selena chuckling. "I love you" he kissed her cheek before leaning down kissing Selena on the lips. "I love you too for a million reasons. Right now for helping me create this beautiful girl of ours and for bringing her into this world."
After Romeo cut the umbilical cord the nurses dried Rayne off then gave her back to Selena. She was ready to breast feed as she tried to latch onto her. "Let me help" Selena positioned herself and jumped with a grunt coming from her mouth when the baby latched on. A tear rolled down her cheek as her nipple that she was latched on was so tender. "It'll get better baby" he kissed her cheek.

God it hurt when she was latched on. But this is natural. Like Rome said, it'll get better. I hope soon because man it hurts. I can't believe she's finally here. I fell in love the moment I looked at her. I can't wait to raise this little princess. After breast feeding her she went to sleep so the nurse took her from me so that she could lay her down in the crib. I was so exhausted myself. I couldn't manage to keep my eyes opened.
"I'm so exhausted..." she whispered. "You should get some sleep baby" he rubbed her forehead as he looked down at her. Selena scooted over enough before asking him to lay with her. "Lay with me.." she told him as she continued to struggle to keep her eyes opened. He kicked his shoes off before laying next to her. She laid her head against his chest and he wrapped his arm around her. "I'm so in love with you... both of you. Please never leave me, the day that'll happen I—" he placed his finger to her lips "you're tired. You need to rest. You know I would never leave you. Don't even put that type of negative energy into your mind. I'm in love with you both too. I'm not going anywhere. We are a family. More to come my love." He looked down and she was fast asleep which made him chuckle. He knew she was only saying that because she was so tired and was just saying things. He kissed the top of her head before he soon fell asleep.
30 minutes later Selena woke up hungry. She hit the button to page a nurse. She smiled at her husband who was snoring in his sleep. When the nurse came in she asked if she could eat. She brought her a menu and ran some tests and everything was fine. After eating she can take a shower and they will be able to leave in the next hour. She tried to get out of bed to use the restroom without waking Romeo but failed. "Sorry for waking you up. I have to use the restroom.." he rubbed his eyes before getting out of bed and helping her out. She wrapped her arm around his waist as he led her to the bathroom. "Thanks.." she mumbled. "You're welcome. Let me know if you need help." He stood outside of the bathroom until she was done. When she came out he was facing her as a smile was brought to his face. "What?" She asked a bit confused. "You're so perky. I can't wait until you're fully recovered from birth because you might end up pregnant again" he looked down at her boobs causing her to laugh. "Oh gosh. Stop it" she continued to laugh. He chuckled and helped her back to the bed. "I'm about to eat and then afterwards shower. They said I'll be able to leave once I'm done."
