Not a word, not one word was spoken between us. The last twelve hours were spent in complete silence while I packed my bags and prepared myself mentally to leave.
We were sitting in the car, he was driving me to the airport. I had never felt so bad in my whole life, it was like I was leaving a piece of me here. A piece that I may not even get back and honestly I really didn't know where we stood now. Where we still together? Where we even in a relationship? Questions kept coming back in my mind like a loop. But I knew the love was still there, the feelings were still there. Like when I got up feeling like shit my tea was sitting ready on the table. It was the little things, that showed he still cared.
Today I didn't put any effort in my look which was so not me. Black pants and a blue full sleeve top. Hair was in a bun and I had no makeup on, pretty sure my eyes looked dead due to the lack of sleep last night. I knew he couldn't sleep too but I made sure I slept on the couch, unlike the past two weeks.

Before I knew it, I saw the airport coming into view. I really did dread this moment. Silently we both got out and took my bags from the trunk. Once we were done both of us just stood there looking at each other. So many things to say, but not a word was spoke. I stepped forward and wrapped my hands around his neck, hugging him like it was the last time. Moving away our foreheads were rested on each others. Slowly I pecked his lips, I wanted more but quick moved away.
Taking my bags quickly I turned and walked away. Tears were now flowing down my face, my heart ached like never before. But I dared not turn back to look at him for one last time, because I knew if I ever did it would be impossible to leave.
