3rd POV
Mikaelson Home
Hope just got home from school feeling drained from another day of trying to speak to her half siblings that don't want to speak to her or see her at the moment. She can't help but feel down about the situation that has happened, that her parents have caused.
"Hey sweetie, I feel like we haven't talked all week? How was school?" Hayley asks.
"It was fine, they still haven't talked to me." Hope says confiding in her mother about the situation for the first time.
"You don't need them, Hope. They aren't your siblings and you have to forget about them and Kenna." Hayley says not liking that Hope would be anywhere near Kenna and Klaus' children.
"Mom, the only reason that they don't want to talk to me or see me right now is because of what you said to their mom! Why did you even say that? Couldn't you have just let it go whatever she had said to you?" Hope says desperate for an explanation from her mother.
"No Hope, you wouldn't understand." Hayley says rolling her eyes.
"Then explain it to me, I want to understand why you hate her so much why you don't want me near her or my half siblings. I want to be close to them, I want to have a sister my age that I can talk to and a brother to hug me and give me advice!" Hope says finally letting out the emotions she's been feeling since she found out about the twins.
"Because they are hers! Kenna's! The Kenna that gets everything handed to her and gets whatever she wants because she's a pretty face!" Hayley blows before stopping herself seeing the shocked look on Hope's face.
"I'm sorry sweetie, I didn't mean that!" Hayley says not wanting everyone to know about her hatred towards Kenna.
"But you did, I don't want to be here right now." Hope says grabbing her bag and heading out of the house. Once out she takes a deep breath wanting to let go off all the drama that has always been in her life, that has taken over her life since before she was born.
She wonders where to even go, she couldn't go back inside to deal with her mother or her family. She would have to explain what happened to her family and they would think differently of her mother. She couldn't do that to her mom.
She goes to the only place she could think of where she might be welcomed and could be able to breath. Somewhere that is safe and happy.
When she gets to the Saltzman residence she's afraid to knock, what if they get mad that she's there?
She finally pushes herself to ring the bell she felt like it was an eternity before she heard noise behind the door.
"COMING!" She hears a voice from the other side.
"Oh hey, what are you doing here?" Josie says opening the door wider once she sees it's Hope.
"Sorry about coming over without notice but I just really needed to get away from my family." Hope says as Josie nods.
"Well um, I guess do you want to come in?" Josie says as Hope nods and heads inside without the barrier stopping her.
"Come on, we were just cooking up dinner for our parents." she says leading her into the kitchen.
"Hey, Jo, who was at the do-" Lizzie asked but stopped once seeing Hope come in behind Josie.
"What is she doing here?" Emery asks confused.
"I'm sorry for coming over like this I just couldn't be at, you know what this was a mistake I'll just go." Hope says not knowing what to do. Before she's able to leave she's shocked to hear Jace speak up.
