Chapter Thirty Seven

3rd POV

The Salvatore School is now back to normal with the students going back to their classes and the excitement of the pageant done. The students now are just waiting for the full moon to come and go.

The wolves becoming anxious with some having to go down to the cellars and others being able to roam the grounds. The rest of the students not looking forward to being stuck indoors that night with it being too dangerous to leave the school.

"Hey mom," Alec says along with the rest of his siblings and Hope as they walk into their office and sit on the couch. Hope smiles to Kenna as she hugs her kids and Hope who smiles thinking about the close relationship that has blossomed between her half siblings, the twins, Alec, and even Kenna and Ric.

The school day had just finished and the teens had decided to be with them as they finished their work day before heading home along with Hope who was invited to another one of their family dinner nights.

"Hey guys, where's your aunt and uncle?" Ric asks and before any of the kids could even answer Kol makes his appearance with a bang of the door.

"I am here, Now bow." He jokes as the kids chuckle.

"Quiet you goof, we still sadly have paperwork." Ric says chuckling.

"Nope, I demand it wait."

"Kol, sorry he dosen't understand the meaning of paperwork." Davina says.

"You do realize that you're going to have your own paperwork now that you teach here." Emery says as Kol rolls his eyes.

"I'll ignore it till it goes away like all my other problems." Kol says making them chuckle.

"Or he'll ask me to do it." Davina mumbles as Kol chuckles.

"Sorry, Darling."

The two go to sit on the other couch across from their nieces and nephews as they talk together while Kenna and Ric try to finish their paperwork. About 10 minutes pass when the conversation halts by the entrance of Elijah, Klaus and Hayley.

"Hope, we've been waiting outside for 20 minutes to pick you up." Klaus says as they walk in getting the attention of everyone in the room.

"What do you mean? I texted that I was going to Kenna's after class." Hope says standing up to go over to her parents.

"I didn't receive a message, who did you tell?"

"I texted mom." She says looking over to her mom as she pulls out her phone.

"Oops, it died, oh well, let's go home come on." Hayley says already wanting to leave.

"Sorry you guys drove over here but I'm going over to Kenna's they invited me over for dinner." Hope says as Klaus smiles.

"That sounds great, you mind if we join?" He asks towards the two adults that have began to pack up their things.

"Um, I don't think that a great idea and our table isn't big enough for your entire family, maybe another time." Kenna says as politely as she can.

"Nonsense, than we'll just have it at ours, you're all invited to our home for dinner tonight at 7:00." Klaus smiles to the family who looks over to their parents worried while Hope sighs.

"Come along, Hope, you can help." Hayley says grabbing Hope's bag as the four walk out with Elijah excusing them.

"Great, this should be a blast." Kol says as the family looks to each other worried.
