Two years after the events of the first movie, Spike, Carly, and Kicker are graduating high school and are getting ready for college. however Spike is reluctant to go to College since Bumblebee can't come with him and he doesn't want to be separated from his yellow Autobot friend, however his mom is pushing for him to get enrolled at Princeton University. Spike's dream is not to go to college but rather follow in his father's footsteps by joining the military and fight for his country (a nod to Spike's military background in the IDW 2005 comics). however to his over-protective mother that is not an option and is enrolled at Princeton against his own wishes where he meets and befriends Chip Chase and Elise Presser. however, his Allspark shard pendant puts a target on his back by the Decepticons who are seeking to re-assemble the Allspark. at the end of the film Spike, Carly, Kicker, Chip, and Elise are all made Junior N.E.S.T. agents by Director Faireborn.

Carly Spencer

Two years after the events of the first movie, Spike, Carly, and Kicker are graduating high school and are getting ready for college. Carly's college plans are pursuing a degree in Automotive technology so that she can help out with her father at his auto-body shop and eventually take over the family business. she is still feeling grief over the loss of Jazz even two years after his death, but she learns to heal when she finds herself a new Autobot partner in Arcee who becomes best friends with Carly. at the end of the film Spike, Carly, Kicker, Chip, and Elise are all made Junior N.E.S.T. agents by Director Faireborn.
