We then cut back to team prime returning to N.E.S.T. HQ where Ratchet is happy to see that the whole team made it back safely, Director Faireborn glancing at Jetfire asking the Autobots what a Decepticon is doing at their base, and Bumblebee assures her that Jetfire's on our side now. Simmons exits the carrier plane and shakes hands with Director Faireborn, telling her "hello, director" followed by Faireborn saying "Hello Simmons, it's been a while" hinting towards the two possible being an item in the past. our heroes then each hold up an Allspark fragment and the pieces all start to gravitate towards each other before merging to form the newly-restored Allspark. the Autobots are in awe of the relic's glowing blue light, General Witwicky, Faireborn, the Commandos, and the five teens blinded by the light. Wheeljack and Ratchet then place the Allspark into Optimus's chest, Ratchet saying "I hope this works". we then cut back to the Astral plane where we see Trion telling Optimus that the time has come for him to be judged by the primes that came before him. the ghosts of the other past primes appear behind Trion, Optimus in awe of being in the presence of the ten primes. the primes then judge Optimus, telling him that a crisis is upon us and that as their chosen champion Optimus must put a stop to The Fallen's evil scheme to destroy Earth and save the planet from certain destruction. Optimus asks Trion why he still hasn't told him what he meant by "only the power of two can defeat the one", but Trion tells Optimus that he'll find out once he gets back to the mortal realm. the past primes each give Optimus their blessing and wish him luck before sending him out of the astral plane. we then cut back to the world of the living where the Allspark's life-giving energy surges through Optimus's body which glows a bright blue before Optimus's eyes open once again waking up from his coma. once the glowing stops, Optimus hops off the Medical table and starts walking. Prime stumbles at first, but Ratchet helps him get back on his feet telling the Autobot leader to take it easy. Optimus asks what happened, and Bumblebee tells Optimus that he lead team prime in his absence and went on a quest to retrieve the Allspark fragments and used the cube to save his life. Arcee tells Optimus that it's true, saying that Bumblebee showed immense bravery in the face of danger. Optimus places his hand on Bumblebee's shoulder, thanking the yellow Autobot scout for going through all that trouble to save his life. Jetfire walks up to Optimus, thanking him for helping him see the light and realize that he was fighting on the side of an unjust war and that it would be an honor to fight alongside the last of the primes. Optimus and Jetfire clasp their hands as a sign of Optimus accepting Jetfire into the team before we cut to Megatron returning to the Nemesis, entering The Fallen's throne room to kneel before his master. The Fallen scolds Megatron, telling him "you let the Allspark, the key to rebuilding Cybertron in the glorious image of the Decepticons, slip into the hands of the Autobots and you let that turncoat Jetfire escape with the shards right under our noses instead of killing him when you had the chance. you may have taken my former name as your own, but you will never be me. how appropriate you kneel before me my apprentice, as even a pretentious fool like you recognizes when he is in the presence of a true god. but no matter, the Allspark was merely a setback. it seems you and your poor excuses for followers have uncovered the star harvester I had built on Earth a millennia ago, finally you've done something right for a change". The Fallen gets up off his throne and tells Megatron "rise up my Apprentice, the time as come for us to destroy this pathetic planet and squash the Autobot rebellion once and for all, only then will revenge finally be ours". Megatron stands back up on two legs and smirks before we cut to The Fallen teleporting to Egypt, standing atop the Star Harvester while the seven Constructicons and Decepticon drones kneel before their master followed by Megatron, Soundwave, and The Seekers arriving on the scene to stand at the base of the Star Harvester while Laserbeak ejects from Soundwave's chest to circle the massive device using his camera eyes to broadcast The Fallen's speech to the entire planet, people around the world shocked to see The Fallen's face on their TV screens (including a brief cameo of Spike's mom). The Fallen then exclaims "People of Earth, the end of your planet is near! in a few minutes, this device will be triggered which will absorb the energy of your sun until it is no more, and life on this planet will cease to exist!" all of N.E.S.T. watches from the giant TV screen in their main bunker, and General Witwicky turns the screen off, saying that he can't watch anymore. Spike asks what they're going to do, and Director Faireborn tells him "the Autobots are gonna do exactly the same thing they did two years ago, save the world... again". we then cut to a montage of the N.E.S.T. agents gearing up and loading their vehicle into the carrier jets while the Autobots lock and load, all the while General Witwicky tosses the five teens their N.E.S.T. gear, telling them that if they're gonna help the Autobots fight the Decepticons they're gonna need these. Spike smiles, happy to finally be able to fight on the front lines as a soldier followed by thanking his dad. Director Faireborn rolls her eyes, telling General Witwicky that one day those kids are gonna get themselves killed. General Witwicky tells Faireborn that they'll be fine since the Autobots got their backs, saying that the friendship between the teens and their Autobot guardians is impeccable, a perfect bond batween man and machine. Jetfire then informs the Autobots and N.E.S.T. agents that the machine is an ancient piece of technology from the age of primes called a star harvester saying that it has the power to destroy suns, saying that he kinda helped the Decepticons uncover it before Optimus puts his hand on the giant former Decepticon's shoulder and assures him that he forgives him. Optimus then tells his teammates that they need to find a way to stop The Fallen from activating the machine, or else Earth is doomed. Simmons informs Optimus that he discovered some Cybertronian writing in an Egyptian tomb that said The Fallen's staff was the key to the machine, followed by Optimus saying that they need to get that staff away from him. Blurr then asks Optimus "hey prime, are you gonna say the thing? you know, the thing you always say?" followed by Optimus telling his fellow Autobots "Transform and roll out!" followed by Optimus, Bumblebee, Ratchet Ironhide, Arcee, Blurr, Wheeljack, Mirage, the twins, and Jetfire transforming into their vehicle modes before leaving Diego Garcia heading for Egypt, Optimus and his team riding in the N.E.S.T. carriers while Jetfire leads the way in the skies.
