Chapter 14: World tour, part 2

We then cut to the N.E.S.T. carrier flying over New York before landing near an airport. Spike contacts chip that they've landed in New York and gives him the address to their current location. Chip and Simmons both hop into Wheeljack's vehicle mode before they drive towards the airport to rendezvous with Spike, Carly, Arcee, and Bumblebee. once they arrive at the airport and board the N.E.S.T. carrier, Spike and Carly get a reunion with Simmons who comments on how much the two of them have grown since he last saw them. Simmons then pats the hood of Bumblebee's vehicle mode, telling the yellow Autobot that he's happy to see him too. Simmons asks Spike and Carly where the others are, and Spike tells Simmons that they're in other countries around the world looking for pieces of the Allspark. little do our heroes know they are being followed by the seekers, the five fighter jets flying in formation above the N.E.S.T. carrier. we then cut to Kicker and Elise driving through the bustling metropolis of Tokyo, Japan inside Ironhide and Blurr. however they are stopped at the red light which Irritates Blurr saying that he can't afford to stop at the red light he's got to go fast. Ironhide tells Blurr to calm down, telling him that this is their planet not ours and as long as they remain on its planet they have to abide by its rules. Elise is in awe of the neon lights and notices a sign advertising a new Japanese soft drink with a picture of Optimus Prime holding the bottle in his hand on it. Kicker can't believe that the Autobots have become so world-famous that they're now being used for product placement. this worries Ironhide who's concerned that people might recognize their vehicle modes, but Blurr says he likes the attention, saying that it reminds him of his pre-war days as a champion racer on the Cybertronian colony world of Velocitron. Elise then gets excited and asks Blurr "no way, you were a racer? you must have been the fastest of them all" followed by Blurr telling Elise "I sure was" followed by Elise telling Blurr that's so cool and how lucky she is to be partnered up with the fastest robot alive. a swarm of screaming fangirls then surround the two Autobots which gives Ironhide unfortunate flashbacks to what happened at Shanghai. Kicker rolls down the window of Ironhide's vehicle and starts flirting with the fangirls, signing Autographs before asking one of them for her number. however the light conveniently turns green and Ironhide slams the brakes before Kicker can get the chance, with Elise laughing at Kicker's misery telling him "maybe next time, buddy" and the two Autobots resume their drive through the streets of Tokyo on their way to the Allspark fragment's location which is the dormant volcano Mount Fuji. we then cut to the jungles of Peru where we see the commandos hop out of the twins and Mirage's vehicle modes to patrol the dense Amazon rainforest while Mirage and the twins transform into their robot modes. Lennox tells his men to keep an eye out for any Decepticons that may be lurking in the jungles, as they're after the Allspark fragment too. We then see a platoon of Decepticon drones watch our heroes from the jungles and take sniper positions, only for Donnelly to spot the drones with his heat vision goggles and alerts the others of the Decepticons presence. The twins then get into a back to back pose and exchange knowing glances, Sideswipe asking his brother "tag team, brother?" followed by Sunstreaker replying with "tag team". Sideswipe slashes through several drones with his katanas while Sunstreaker covers for his brother by blasting them with his twin pistols. once they are done killing drones, Sunstreaker exclaims "they can't beat the best" followed by the twins bro-fisting. Mirage uses his cloaking ability to turn invisible and sneak off to find the Allspark fragment while Lennox and his men provide cover fire before we cut back to Japan where Ironhide and Blurr arrive at the base of Mount Fuji with Kicker and Elise hopping out of their vehicle modes, Elise asking the two if the Allspark fragment is REALLY inside that volcano. Ironhide tells her "looks like it" before the two transform into robot mode. Ironhide tells the two humans to stay here, as it's too dangerous for them since humans are not lava proof. Blurr says he can use his super-speed to run to the top of that volcano and back, and Blurr grabs Ironhide by the arm and uses his super-speed to carry Ironhide all the way up to the top of Mount Fuji where they see the glowing blue Allspark fragment inside the molten lava. Blurr is scared, saying that he's not gonna risk melting his precious metal trying to grab that thing. Ironhide tells Blurr that he'll do it and jumps off the edge into the mouth of the volcano to grab the Allspark fragment. Ironhide wades through the molten lava which superheats his metallic body before Ironhide plunges his fist into the lava and grabs the Allspark fragment before climbing out of the volcano with smoke coming off his chasse. Once Ironhide cools off Blurr uses his super-speed to carry him back to the base of Mount Fuji where Kicker and Elise are happy to see the two have made it back in one piece with the Allspark fragment. Ironhide contacts N.E.S.T. to inform them that they've successfully obtained the fragment and the carrier arrives on the scene to pick them up, Kicker happy to see Spike and Carly again before we cut back to Peru where we see the invisible Mirage sneaking through the jungle before arriving at the banks of the Amazon river. Mirage's cloaking ability wears off exposing him to the Decepticon drones who open fire on the white-and-blue Autobot. Mirage whips out his rapier before slicing his way through Decepticon drones. Once all the cons in Mirage's way drop dead, Mirage tells them that this is too easy before realizing that it really was too easy and this was all a distraction. We then cut back to the twins and commandos dispatching the remaining Decepticon drones before Mirage arrives on the scene to warn them that this was all a distraction to keep the Autobots busy while the Decepticons searched for the Allspark fragment. Mirage and the twins transform back into their vehicle modes for the commandos to hop into before driving off. we then cut to Egypt where we see the Constructicons in vehicle digging in the desert while Jetfire oversees the Archaeological dig until the Constructicons come across the star harvester buried in sand and transform into robot mode to tell Jetfire that they found something. jetfire dusts off a part of the ancient device and tells the Constructicons that this is the device that Megatron is looking for before telling the Constructicons to keep digging. we briefly cut to the nemesis where The Fallen gets off his throne upon sensing that his star harvester has been discovered on Earth. We then cut back to Peru where the Autobots and commandos arrive at Machu Picchu followed by the three Autobots transforming into robot mode while the five human commandos ready their weapons. the Autobots and Commandos are suddenly attacked by Megatron in his cyber-tank mode who rolls onto the scene and starts firing at our heroes with his tank turret. the Autobots and humans try to dodge the fire causing Megatron to hit one of the Peruvian temples, the structure crumbling to reveal an Allspark fragment inside only for them to get jumped by Decepticon drones who put the Autobots in shackles and the human commandos in cages. Megatron then transforms into robot mode to grab the Allspark fragment followed by Lennox demanding Megatron to let go of the fragment. Megatron then tells Lennox "do you seriously expect me to hand over a shard of our most sacred relic to a disgusting flesh creature like you? no... as we speak an ancient device that was built on this planet thousands of years ago is being unearthed with the power to destroy suns. once it is fully operational it will will obliterate your primitive planet and my master, The Fallen, will have his revenge". We then cut to the N.E.S.T. carrier leaving Japan and flying over the Indian ocean where the Autobots get a distress call from Mirage informing his teammates that they got captured by Megatron. Bumblebee tells the others that this is serious and they got to get to Peru as fast as they can. however their plane is suddenly shot at by the Seekers who manage to hit the left wing of the N.E.S.T. carrier causing the plane to spin out of control and crash-land in the Egyptian desert. the Autobots drive out of the crashed plane before Spike, Carly, Kicker, Chip, Elise, Simmons, and Wheelie hop out of their vehicle modes with Spike asking where they are with Chip telling him that it sure doesn't look like Peru. Simmons notices the pyramids of Giza in the distance and tells the five teens "I think we're in Egypt". the five Autobots transform into robot mode with Bumblebee yelling "Egypt? EGYPT? we weren't supposed to go to Egypt until AFTER we rendezvoused with Mirage and the twins in Peru! now we're stranded in Egypt with no hope of escaping, we're DOOMED! Mirage and the Twins are probably dead by now" Arcee then comforts Bumblebee and assures him that they'll make it out in time and save their friends and the two Autobot lovers finally kiss with Simmons comically shielding Chip's eyes telling him "trust me kid, this is something you DON'T want to see". Wheelie then jumps out of Chip's backpack and rolls off through the desert, Chip begging for Wheelie to come back but the little robot doesn't listen. Wheeljack tells the others to go while he stays behind to fix the plane. Bumblebee, Arcee, Ironhide, and Blurr transform into their vehicle modes with Spike and Chip hopping in Bumblebee, Carly hopping on Arcee, Elise hopping in Blurr, and finally Kicker and Simmons hopping in Ironhide. after that, we cut back to N.E.S.T. HQ where Ratchet is begging for the rest of team prime to hurry up, since Optimus's vital signs are dropping significantly meaning if they don't get back in time they could lose Prime for good.
