I couldn't stay, but I couldn't go either.
"I'll ride with Aaron and Gabriel." I told him. "I can't really nap on the back of your bike."
"Alright." Daryl chuckled, taking a kiss before leaving me, for his bike. I hopped in the back of the van, greeting the two men.
"You don't mind, do you?" I asked. "I thought I could nap." I told them.
"Of course we don't mind." Gabriel sent me a smile.
"My mom said her doctor told her she slept for 75% of her pregnancy." Aaron chuckled, looking at me through the mirror. I held my jaw open, slightly.
"Sorry... Daryl told me." Aaron smiled. "But congratulations. He also told me you guys had been trying for a while."
"Yeah." I cleared my throat.
"God is great." Gabriel beamed at me in the back of the van.
I waiting until we were on the road for a minute until I felt asleep in the back. And once I woke up, we were already stopped and the van was empty. I spotted Jesus and Daryl outside in the woods, tying something together.
"Hey." I stretched as I got out.
"Good morning, sleeping beauty." Jesus teased, with a smile.
Daryl looked up at him slowly with an easy glare.
"Sorry- I wasn't" He shook his head.
I chuckled and looked around.
"What's the plan?"
They explained the explosives and taking over the arsenal, and keeping the people in the woods.
"You're gonna stay with the vehicles, make sure they're are no strays... Or walkers." Rick explained.
"Sure." I nodded, accepting a small rifle.
"You gon' be alright?" Daryl asked, walking me to the RV.
I chuckled, taking the walkie talkie he was giving me.
"Yeah, I'm gonna be great." I pressed a kiss to his lips, before turning to climb up the ladder.
"Aye." He turned me once more, kissing me again. "For good luck." He spoke. I chuckled and made my way to the roof of the RV, with my gun and radio.
It took a short while before the first explosion. Then the rest. I heard some screams- as expected, but everything seemed to stay on track. I barely could see the groups of people, but heard the walkers before they did.
"Shit." I muttered, laying on my stomach to aim. I heard them begin shooting and joined, taking down some of the last ones.
I could see them returning with baskets and crates.
"No shit." I breathed, seeing Tara with a smile. "Good job... Tara." I patted her back.
I found Daryl who was carrying a basket.
"That good luck worked." He chuckled. I shook my head and wrapped my arms around him.
I road back with Daryl this time, and we made it to Alexandria just after dark.
The ride in the van was a lot smoother so I reminded myself to opt out of riding with Daryl again.
Rosita opened the gates for us, surprising us.
"Thank god." I breathed.
"There's someone here." She spoke. We followed her to Morgan's cell, where there was Dwight. Before I could even turn, Daryl was pushing into Rick trying to get to him.
