Chapter 9 (I am not Jealous of a Fish)

Jacob's Pov:

After I got back from Canada, because I had to chase that stupid red head leech. Paul had gone with me and was complaining the whole time. I mean I can't help but think of my imprint, and everytime I did I then was reminded of my sweet Bella. That made Paul angrier than before, but I can't help that the spirits were wrong. Sam looks at me like I am crazy, and says that he doesn't know how I do it. I mean maybe he didn't love Leah, because the imprint gives you the option of being a friend, brother, OR lover. I don't have to love my imprint I can just be her friend. As soon as I got home I flopped on my bed, and went to sleep. I was so tired I probably looked like a leech.

I woke up to Bella yelling outside, and then I heard Paul growling. Now if you know Paul, you know that this is bad. Then I put two and two together, Paul was growling at Bella. I ran out side to see a scene I don't even think I could have imagined. 3 girls were by the truck one of them being my imprint, and Bella has just slapped Paul. Oh Shinitzel. Things just got real. I watch as my imprint as well as two other girls start pulling away Bella from Paul, and then I watch as Paul shifts.

I come out of my hiding spot and start running out to save my imprint. I mean BELLA. I am going to save Bella.

"BELLA!" I yell, trying to get her to run.

"JAKE! JAKE RUN!" Bella yelLs as the three girls pull her away from Paul. I shift and growl at Paul.

"What the heck is your problem Paul?!" I yell in our mind link.

"She slapped me AND pushed my imprint to the ground!" Paul says, and I don't think I have ever seen him this mad before.

"That doesn't mean you try to kill her Paul!" I say growling, and then he lunges at me. We start fighting and we roll off into the forest. I feel someone tailing behind us and realise it is Sam when he shifts and starts yelling at us in the mind link.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU TWO ARE SO STUPID TO SHIFT IN FRONT OF HUMANS. EVEN IF 3 OF THEM ARE IMPRINTS BELLA IS NOT, AND YOU TWO JUST TOLD THE LEECH LOVER WHAT AND WHO WE ARE. YOU ARE SO IRRESPONSIBLE PAUL. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER, WHAT IF YOU GET MAD AT YOUR IMPRINT AND SHE SMACKS YOU. ARE YOU GOING TO TRY TO KILL HER TOO. JAKE I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF BELLA. YOU SHOULD HAVE MADE SURE SHE NEVER CAME HERE!" Sam yelled, Paul and I lower our heads in shame. Getting yelled at your Alpha is like getting scolded by your parents.

"Sorry" Paul and I say at the same time.

"Good now go talk to your imprints and explain, what just happened. Everyone is back at Emily's house." Sam says

When we get back to Emily's I hear laughter. Which really confuses me seeing as that they just saw two people turn into wolves. I mean I freaked out when I turned into a wolf. So how were they acting normal, I mean yeah Bella knew about the leeches but the other girls didn't. I think, I mean why would Bella tell them about the leeches?

Once I get inside I see the 2 girls who I don't know my imprint, yuck, and my beautiful Bella. I look at Bella and see her standing awkwardly by herself and nod my head outside. I see all of the guys look at me with anger, for choosing Bella over my imprint. In my mind it isn't really a choice I love Bella, and I am not made to by some stupid spirits. Bella gets up and starts to follow me out, and I look over and see the two girls with Bella and my imprint glaring at me. I walk Bella all the way to the beach, and what she had to say shocked and angered me.

"Jake you have to stop"she says, and I know my face is confused.

"I can't Bella, it's not a choice." I said bewildered and getting kind of angry. I mean my imprint woul- whoa, whoa I didn't just say that. Calm down Jake, Bella you like Bella. It's the spirits making you attracted to that thing.

"Jake your hurting people killing them even" Bella says, and that's when I lost it.

"You're a murderer" Bella says, backing away looking horrified.

"What no Bella we aren't the ones killing people!" I say to her, absolutely horrified she could think that.

"Then who is?" She asks, like she doesn't know.

"Leeches" I say, kinda glaring at her.

"What no Jake, you can't kill them they are too strong!" Bella says, and I scoff at her.

"We took that one with the dreads out just fine." I say.

"You killed Laurent?" Bella asks.

"Yeah he didn't seem like the friendly type, but don't worry we can't harm your stupid Cullens." I say, still mad she dated one.

"What do you-" Bella starts off, but gets cut off by a crash.

Bella and I are running back from the beach after talking to each other. I told her about the red headed leech or Victoria as Bella called her. We are almost at Sam's house when I hear a thunderous roar. I make sure Bella is behind me before going and checking it out. Imagine my surprise when I see MY imprint fighting a overgrown cow, which looks like it had underwear on or a diaper I am not sure. We get there just in time to see her stab it with a stick, and it explodes into golden dust. I stand there in shock as does Bella, while we watch the golden dust get compressed and shaped into a rock mold. It looks like my imprint is doing this but that is just not possible, I mean nobody can do that, right?

"What is going on here?" I ask, completely frazzled by the possibility of my imprint getting hurt.

"Skylar kicked some butt that's what happened!" Embry's imprint said.

I gotta start learning their names. This is just getting ridiculous. I mean what the heck are their names? While I am in my own world I feel someone latch onto my arm, and look down to see a innocent looking Bella. What the heck is she doing, she just called me a murder now she wants to be all lovey on me?

"Yeah Skylar whooped some a-ouch-applesauce." Paul's imprint says, and mid-sentence gets smacked by Skylar on the back of the head.

Okay so her name is Skylar. Wow. That's a beautiful name just like h- I mean Bella. Yeah Bella is a beautiful name and I wasn't made to love it by some mystical force. Yeah Bella. While I am thinking about this I miss a whole conversation and apparently we are all going to the beach now.

"Hey you coming Jake?" I hear Embry yell at me.

But all I can see is Skylar's butt in those jeans. I mean wow she is definitely not flat, like some people, but I mean who wants curves? Right? Yeah that makes since.

"Yeah." I say snapping out of my trance of looking at Skylar's butt.

When I finally catch up I see Skylar talking to a fish and the fish jumps up and kisses her! What the heck does that fish think it is doing! She is mine! I mean whatever that fish can have her.

"Yo Jake are you jealous?" I hear Paul yell, while laughing his butt off.

"I am not jealous of a fish!" I yell, looking like a maniac!

I look over to see all of the guys laughing at me. Whatever I love Bella anyways.
