"Here comes trouble" I mumbled, Maya must have heard that because she almost burst out laughing
"Hey, Miss Munaga right?" I asked
"What kind of sick game is this?" She asked
"What do you mean Miss Munanga?"
"You know exactly what I mean Chard, don't play damn"
"Baby who is this?" Maya asked
"Baby" Nora asked puzzled
"Oh I didn't tell you I was married?" I asked her
"You are married" she asked in what sounded like a whisper
"Yes he is and from the look of things it seems like he lied to you like he lies to all these ladies" Maya said
"How could you Chard"
"I am sorry if at all I led you on Miss Munanga, the relationship that you and I share is strictly work, if I said anything that made you think otherwise then please forgive me" I said faking a serious face
"You didn't tell me you hired someone new" Maya said
"Oh baby it must have slipped my mind but Miss Munanga here is my new P.A just temporarily"
"Nora, he is not worth it come on lets go" the girl she was with said
"Take care of yourself Miss Munanga" I said and we walked out holding hands , when we got to the car we laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes.
"Gosh Chard, these women will kill you"
"Baby that woman is a pain the butt gosh I regret ever making any advances on her, I just had sex with her once and now she thinks we are married"
"You will get arrested soon I can't believe she fell for that"
"Thank you for saving my ass there, I owe you one"
"Who is she even?"
"She is an intern that will start work on Monday, maybe I should even terminate the internship what do you think?"
"You have already broken the poor lady's heart let her keep her job, its just three months isn't it?"
"Yes it is, I just hope she can behave during those three months"
"Oh God Chard you are crazy, I can't believe we are twins, like really you meet someone for the first time and you are having sex?"
"She was all over me I just gave her what she wanted"
"Anyway she got what she deserved some ladies can be so desperate for a man I hope she learns to compose herself"
"I wish every lady could reason like you Maya"
"So did mummy tell you we are all spending the weekend at her place?"
"Why and I was hoping to spend some time with the guys"
"I don't know, she said something about having all the children with her for the weekend"
"Even Olivia is coming?" I asked
"Yes, isn't she mum's child?
"Olivia can be so annoying you know?"
"You an Olivia act like cousins"
"Anyway for mum's sake I will be around but I will leave early on Sunday so I can have some guy's night out"
"How is Chiwila?"
"He is fine he said something about wanting to settle down with the Yvonne girl"
"You see your friend is taking the right path"
"Ah it's his time"
You know what I love most about being a twin? It's the fact that I can have someone that has my back 24/7, someone whose loyalty I can't question and someone that can get me out of messy situations. From a young age, Maya and I always had each other's back we would stand up for each other and no one would dare mess up with any of us and we have kept that bond strong even until now, I can't imagine life without her.

I watched Chard walk out on me hand in hand with that lady, I was hysterical, I couldn't pull myself together, I didn't even have the strength to drive us back home so Nicole drove us instead, I was crying all the way, no man had ever humiliated me like he did. Come to think of it, I had seen the photos of that lady in his house and because of my stupidity I assumed she was his sister or something, how could I have been so careless as not to ask him about her.
"Nora, if only you had listened to me, all this wouldn't be happening, I hope you can finally leave that man walk away and find another place to do your attachments from"
I looked at Nicole for a while if she wasn't my friend I would have beaten the shit out of her. "I won't walk away Chard will be mine sooner or later"
"A married man Nora? Are you that desperate awe boi naiwe you can do better than this?"
"Just shut up Nicole" I yelled
I got home and immediately dialed my father's number, he would know what to do in such situations he would help me get that woman out of Chard's life. My father is a well known gangster on the Copperbelt, he is feared by many and just the mention of his name makes a lot of people to tremble.
"Why is my little girl crying" Dad asked when he finally picked up
"Daddy he hurt me" I cried
"Who did my little princess?"
"The man I have been seeing, I love him so much but he keeps hurting me" I cried
"Should I deal with him?"
"No daddy not him but the other woman in his life"
"You want her dead?" he asked
And just before I could answer Nicole got into my room, she had a cup of coffee with her.
"I will call you back daddy" I said and instantly hung up.

"I thought you might need this" Nicole said handing me a cup of coffee
"Thank you"
She sat down on the bed and I did the same.
"So what are you going to do next?"
"I don't know, I can't let him go I love him"
"But you have just known him for like a week"
"Point of correction, I knew him way before this week, at the graduation, remember?"
"That doesn't count, I don't want you getting hurt that man is no good for you"
"Let me handle this my way"
"If you say so, anyway I will be in my room if you need me."
After Nicole walked out I called one of my father's men, the one I had asked to investigate Chard in the beginning just to be sure he had verified the information he gave me.
"Nora my girl how are you?"
"I am not fine Jacob, I trusted you but for the first time you let me down" I sighed
"What do you mean?"
"Well when I told you to find out information about Chard, I wanted the full details but you gave me half baked information"
"What I gave you is exactly what I found and I was so sure there was nothing missing"
"But how come you didn't tell me he was married?"
"Married? There must be a mistake somewhere, Chard Kapembwa is not married"
"Can you send me the photos of his siblings?"
"Okay I will get back to you soon let me look into it I am so sorry for this inconvenience"
"Okay Jacob I trust you will sort this out before I get my father to sort it out"
"Ah Nora don't involve the old man in this, I will surely get it done"
Before calling my father back I decided to wait on Jacob so I could see what he would find out about the little Mrs. wife, I could have searched on his face book page but there were so many privacy settings I couldn't get information unless we were friends.
I wasn't going to let Chard go without putting up a fight. When I came to Lusaka I wanted to have a quiet simple life unlike the one I was used to in Kitwe, back there I was usually the center of attention, no one would dare mess with any member of my family for fear of my father causing havoc. I loved that kind of life but then it affected my dating life so I decided to leave for Lusaka to study and search for love, the last four years I have been in Lusaka I have dated a couple of guys but no one had the standards I wanted and now that I found one that had all the qualities I needed, no one was going to stand in my way.

Two days later, it was the day of Faith's birthday dinner, I knocked off earlier than usual because I needed to do a hair cut plus I wanted to be in time to pick up Maya and mum, mum hated being late for functions.
I got home and took a bath then wore a blue suit with a grey shirt inside, I looked hot as fuck I knew ladies would be drooling over me, I couldn't wait to meet the famous faith, the lady mum always said would make a perfect wife for me, I wasn't at all looking for marriage but if she was as worth it as mum said then I wouldn't mind to have some fun with her.
When I got done I drove over to Maya's house, she wasn't ready yet, that's when she was getting dressed.
"Maya you are so slow like really what have you been doing all this time?" I shouted from the other room
"Boy I had to do my hair plus I had a struggle of choosing which clothes to wear"
"Women" I mumbled
"I heard that" she screamed
"Just hurry up or else mum will have a fit if we are late."
After Maya got done,we picked up mum and went to kablonga where the dinner was being held,
when we got there we were ushered into the living room, since it was just a dinner they weren't a lot of people just a few of her friends and family members.
"Welcome my friend, I am glad you could make it." Faith's mum said hugging mum
"Thank you Bana faith, we couldn't miss it for the world"
"Wow look what we have here, the twins are all grown" she said hugging us one after the other
"Look at you, you will make a perfect husband for faith" she smirked at me.
I didn't reply to her statement but instead fake a smile, afterwards she pulled mum away then Maya and j found ourselves a spot to sit.
"Which one is faith?" I whispered in Maya's ears
"She is not here yet, I guess she is getting dressed"
"Welcome everyone, it's such an honour to have you grace my sister's birthday dinner, as we all know faith has been away for quiet a long time so this is not only a birthday dinner but a welcome back dinner,can we all put our hands together for Faith" An older lady said
The girl who I assumed was faith walked down the stairs to the living room as everyone stood up to greet and hug her. She wore a long black dress, her long blonde Brazilian weave fell on her shoulders and as she greeted everyone she grinned from ear to ear.
She came to where I was and paused for a bit as if examining me.
"Chard right?"
"Yes" I chuckled
She bit her lower lip and winked at me as she proceded to greet the others. She was a goodness I couldn't wait to have her all to myself with no people around.
