I was in pain after Carlos left my neck was arching and my eyes where bloody red from all the crying but I pulled myself together and managed to drive to Nora's house.
I didn't mean to talk to Nicole in that manner, I was a lover of peace and I believed in sorting out matters through dialogue than unnecessary arguments but she kind of pushed me. She was my best friend and I loved her but that didn't give her the right to trample on me like her child.
As I drove back home, I tried calling Chard again but his number was switched off, I tried his sister's line but she wasn't picking up and I couldn't go to his house because I had no idea where he was staying. I drove back home hoping Carlos would not do anything to Chard because I didn't want any more problems.
Carlos wasn't home when I got there so I locked myself up and took a nap.

I lay on the ground on the ground waiting for someone to help me, I was in so much pain but I couldn't even scream. I kept rolling and rolling hoping to get to the gate till I heard Maya's voice from outside.
"Oh my God Chard what happened to you?" she screamed the minute she saw me then mum came rushing through
They helped me into the car and drove us to the hospital, I didn't have internal fractures just a few minor injuries so I was discharged a few hours later.
"It's a good thing I forgot the purse with the cards in your car, because no one would have helped you" Maya said
"I don't want to imagine what would have happened" mum said
We drove back to mum's house later because she didn't want me being at home on my own.

I had people following Carlos as well because I wanted to know his every move so I could know when exactly to attack Nicole I knew it would hurt to take her out of the picture but I had to do it and if Chard proved to be such an ass after this, I would have no option but to eliminate him as well, I would prefer him dead than in the hands of another woman.
I wore black tights, a black T-shirt, black coat and black sneakers I was ready to mourn my former best friend's death. We drove to Nicole's house after midnight, when I got there I told ba Jacob to keep watch because I wanted to fight the battle alone.
"Are you sure you will do this?" he asked as I got out of the car
"Yes I will do this, this is my fight" I replied
I jumped the fence and walked to the door then I removed the keys she had given me some time ago and opened the door. I locked it and walked to her room quietly.
"Carlos, is that you?" I heard Nicole getting out of bed
"No it's not him it's me"
"Nora what are you doing here?" she asked rubbing her eyes
"I am here to see you"
"At this time of the night, are you okay?"
"Stop the stupid questions Nicole" I said moving close to her
"You are scaring me now, what's wrong?"
"I always hated the idea of having a best friend because I knew that shit was never real but all that changed when I met you, you showed me a different side of friendship till you decided to go after the one thing I needed to complete my life, you hurt me deeply Nicole and I can't let you go scot free after this"
"Where are you going with this?" she asked
"I warned you Nicole, I warned you to stay away but you didn't listen"
"Nora, let's talk about this like civilized people I am sure we can come to a conclusion"
"There is no conclusion, this battle ends right here"
"Nora I don't want any battles please go or I call the police on you" she said trying to grab her phone
I unexpectedly punched her in the face, causing her phone to drop.
"You will call no one you fool"
She tried to say something but I drove my fist into her nose and she stumbled to the bed and groaned in pain. Then I removed my gun and pointed it at her, I had to finish her off.
"Don't do it" she whispered
A single tear leaked down my cheek as I pulled the trigger.
I watched as blood dripped from the bed onto the white tiles giving me the much needed satisfaction then I walked out knowing it would only be a few seconds before she breathed her last.
