"Traitors should be dealt with immediately, it doesn't matter who they are, don't give a traitor a second chance to betray you" my father had told me so many times and I dared to go against these words because the traitor in question was my very best friend. I warned Nicole not to get close to Chard again but she didn't listen, I had photos of the hug they shared just after warning her and my heart was boiling with anger and to top it all up they had to go for lunch with his sister inclusive laughing like a cozy family. How could Nora go against me like that?
"You are becoming too weak for my liking my daughter" Dad said when I told him what was going on
"But she is my friend daddy, the only sister I have"
"If she betrayed you then she is not worth your friendship"
"I know dad, I am still thinking on how to handle her"
"Just say the word and she will be eliminated, no one double crosses my child and goes scot free"
"I want to deal with this one my own way, I want to watch her die slowly"
"That's my daughter some people don't deserve to live"
My thoughts were disrupted by someone banging on my door, when I opened I found Nicole by the door fuming with anger.
"Just the person I have been waiting for" I smiled as I opened the door wide.
I knew Nicole would come over once she found out I had given Carlos the photos, at first I didn't want to give him but when I saw the hug and the lunch date, I had to bring Carlos on board, he would help deal with her and she would stay away completely knowing how much she feared him.
"Nora how could you?" she asked as tears threatened to fall from her already red eyes, she looked like she had been crying for long. I didn't feel any remorse
"How could I do what?"
"Don't play damn with me you know what I am talking about"
"I am trying to save you from heart breaks Chard is not the man for you"
"Oh and he is for you huh?"
"He is mine, Chard and I are so alike in so many ways, I can handle him but you on the other hand can't" "Chard is not your child Nora, you have to let him decide on what he wants, if he wants me then let him be"
"Oh so you want him to want you? Bloody traitor"
"I didn't want him but these stupid actions of yours will cause me to accept him just so you can see how much he doesn't want you"
"Shut up stupid girl"
"No I will not shut up I will not allow you to step all over me for a man that doesn't feel anything for you, get it in your skull it was just sex with you"
"I said shut up Nicole, shut the fuck up, you don't know what you are saying" I yelled getting more upset
"Nora you are my friend I never thought we would ever argue over a man, but you have pushed me, Chard means absolutely nothing to me but even if I walk away he will never desire you, he has proven that a number of times"
"Friends don't betray each other"
"I didn't betray you, you betrayed yourself"
"Nicole this is war you have started, you don't know who the fuck I am"
"If it's war you want, then bring it on" She said walking out of the house
"When I am done dealing with you, I swear you won't know what hit you" I yelled
"Bring it on" she yelled back
"Bloody traitor" I said as I picked up my phone to call Jacob
"Nora baby" he answered
"Prepare one of your very best guns we are going for war tonight"
"Done, I will meet you at the house in the next hour so we set up the plan"
"Sharp"

I was really excited to have bumped into Nicole at the mall Maya even got her line so she could help me win her. When we left the mall I drove Maya to mum's house because they were attending a wedding then I drove back home. I got in the house and decided to watch a movie I didn't feel like doing anything. A few minutes into the movie I realized I had left my phone in the car, I got out so I could get it and when I did I was shocked to find a few missed calls from Nicole, I was about to call her back when I heard a knock at the gate.
As soon as I opened the gate, one man pounced on me and I fell to the ground, before I could understand what was going on another held me down while the other started punching me.
"You bastard" I screamed as I tried to get free from his grip
He didn't respond but instead gave me a sharp punch to the jaw as I howled in pain.
"This is for kissing my woman" he said throwing his hand as hard as possible to my face
"And this one is for taking her to lunch today" he said as he throw another punch at me
I was now powerless and blood was now coming out of my mouth.
"Leave Nicole alone, next time you won't be this lucky" he said as he kicked me in the stomach, they got my phone and threw it at the wall and it came crushing down then they walked out banging the gate.
