Younji walked into class and immediately noticed Heejin practically glued to Donghyuck. She wasn't jealous of either of them specifically, but she was jealous of both of them together. She wanted someone to love her— or even just like her— so badly. She'd been looking for someone for so long. Maybe she was just looking in all the wrong places?
"Why don't you two just stitch yourselves together?" Younji questioned, rolling her eyes.
Heejin giggled. "Oh my god, should we?"
"I don't see a problem with it." Donghyuck shrugged, tightening his hold on Heejin's waist.
Younji gagged. "You two disgust me."
"You're obviously jealous." Donghyuck said. "Why don't you just date Mark already?"
Younji choked on her own spit. "You're joking, right?"
Donghyuck furrowed his eyebrows. "No? You two are like, perfect for each other. You know like, everything about him and I know he knows everything about you."
Heejin suddenly remember what happened between the her and Mark the other day. She thought about whether she should tell Younji or not. Ultimately, she decided against it. It wasn't worth costing Mark and Younji their friendship. If he wanted to tell her, he would tell her.
"I think you should go after him." Heejin suggested. Not telling her about what Mark had said didn't stop her from edging Younji on.
Younji shook her head. "That's a bad idea."
Donghyuck shrugged. "Suit yourself."

"So I remember you mentioning your brother a long time ago." Donghyuck spoke, sucking on a cherry lollipop. "Well, a few weeks ago."
Heejin nodded. "What about him?"
"We should find him." Donghyuck suggested, putting his foot up on the bench of the table.
Heejin almost choked on her food. She coughed a few times, then looked at Donghyuck. "You're not serious, right?"
Donghyuck pursed his lips and flicked his eyes back and forth. "I'm being serious."
Heejin took in a breath. She wasn't expecting Donghyuck to actually follow up on trying to find her brother. She was sure she wanted to see him again, but she wasn't sure if she was ready to face her dad. That is, if she had to.
"I mean, sure. The only thing I'm scared of running into is problems with my dad." Heejin replied. "I'm not sure if he's still in my brother's life or not."
"I think your dad might be one of the only ways to find your brother." Donghyuck said, finishing off his lollipop.
Heejin sighed. "You're probably right."
"Is there any way to get in contact with him?" Donghyuck asked.
Heejin racked her brain for any info she had about her dad. "I know my mom still has a little bit of contact with him. He has to pay child support for me."
"Okay, then we'll get to him through your mom." Donghyuck concluded.
Heejin bit her lip. "You see, I've never talked to my mom about my dad."
Donghyuck hummed. "I feel like if she knew our intentions, she would help us."
Heejin nodded, sort of agreeing. She knew Donghyuck was right. Her mom missed her brother— her only son— and it showed. The only place in the house with pictures of him was her room. Heejin also had her own single picture in her room.
Heejin heaved a sigh. "Let's do it. I wanna find him."
Donghyuck smiled. "I wanna see you happy. That's why I wanna help you find him."
"You're so sweet." Heejin cooed. She handed him another lollipop. "You deserve another one."
Donghyuck shrugged and gladly accepted the lollipop. He never passed up a lollipop. Never would he ever pass one up.
