Heejin sat at the island bar with Donghyuck, her mom standing on the other side. It was Tuesday, but her mom had gotten a sudden day off from work.

"You wanted to talk to me?" Heejin's mom asked and Heejin nodded.

"I have a question for you." Heejin began. "Can I have dad's number or whatever?"

Heejin's mom's eyes widened. "Why would you want his number?"

"I have something really important to talk to him about. I would tell you, but it sort of needs to be between us." Heejin explained.

Heejin's mom thought for a second. She wondered if this was such a good idea. "Alright, I'll give it to you. Just, please be careful with it."

Heejin smiled wide and went around to hug her mom. "Thank you!"

Heejin's mom gave Heejin the number and watched her daughter walk off to go upstairs with Donghyuck.

I hope she knows what she's getting herself into. Heejin's mom thought to herself, sighing.

******

Heejin held her phone in her hand, looking down at the contact that had just been put in her phone. She was scared. She didn't want to hear her dad's voice and feel instant regret.

"Do you want me to do it?" Donghyuck asked, putting his hand out.

Heejin shook her head. "I need to. I can do it."

Heejin mustered up all the courage she could and hit the call button. She put the call on speaker and listened to it ring. Suddenly, it stopped ringing.

"Hello?"

Heejin panicked. "U-Uh, y-yeah, hello?"

"Who is this?"

Heejin took a deep breath. "It's Heejin."

The line went silent. It stayed silent for a few seconds, before her dad spoke again. "Hi, Heejin."

"I just have one question and then I'll be done." Heejin said. "Do you know where Junhee is?"

The line was once again silent for a few seconds. Heejin honestly thought he had hung up, but then he spoke. "He's in his room. Why?"

"I want to meet with him. Is that okay?" Heejin asked. She was starting to sweat.

"Give me an address and I'll send him."

Heejin told her dad an address to send Junhee to. She didn't give him her address, because she didn't want him to know that much.

"I'll send him right away." Heejin's dad said, then hung up.

Heejin looked over at Donghyuck, surprised that he would oblige so easily and quickly. Junhee was on his way.

******

Heejin and Donghyuck made their way to the address Heejin had given her dad as fast as they could. The address was a house down the street from Heejin's house.

As soon as Junhee arrived at the address, he stopped in his tracks. A person he never thought he would see ever again was standing right in front of him.

"H-Heejin?"

Heejin and Donghyuck turned around, only to be met with the face of her brother that she hasn't seen since she was young.

"Junhee!" Heejin exclaimed, jumping at her brother.

He accepted her hug and held on for awhile. It had been so long since he'd seen her, but it felt like just yesterday they were still living together. She was obviously much older now, but it still felt like he knew her. He knew he didn't, but it felt like it.

"I can't believe dad just sent you here without a reason." Heejin said, pulling back from the hug.

Junhee shrugged. "He's a shit man and doesn't really care about me anyways, so I'm not that surprised."

"Is he that bad?" Heejin asked, scrunching her nose.

Junhee nodded. He looked past Heejin at Donghyuck, who was standing silently. "Who is this?"

Heejin turned around to look at Donghyuck. "Oh, this is Donghyuck. Donghyuck, this is Junhee."

Donghyuck smiled and held out his hand, which Junhee gladly accepted. Heejin was happy Donghyuck could get along easily with her brother.

"I feel like I know you so well, yet I know nothing about you. It feels like we were never even seperated." Junhee chuckled.

"I know. It's so weird." Heejin agreed. She grabbed Donghyuck's hand and intertwined it with her own as they started walking back towards her house. "It was so much easier to find you and get you here than I thought."

"Dad never went far. You probably figured he moved away." Junhee said, following Heejin to wherever they were going.

"Mom is at the house, by the way." Heejin mentioned. She wasn't sure how either of them would react.

Junhee gasped. "I get to see mom?!"

Heejin chuckled and nodded. "I'm not sure how she'll react, though."

"Hopefully, well." Junhee said, hoping that his mom wouldn't freak out after not seeing her son for so many years.

The three soon arrived at the house, Heejin leading Junhee in. She took him to the kitchen. Their mom was facing away from them. Heejin went over and tapped her shoulder and watched her turn around. Their mom dropped her fork and stood up.

"Junhee, oh my god!" Their mom screamed, immediately engulfing her son in a hug. "How the hell did you get here?!"

"Dad just sent me off. He gave me an address and said someone wanted to see me." Junhee explained, hugging his mom back. He was so happy to see her.

Their mom released the hug and turned to Heejin. "I can't believe you did this!"

"I wanted to see him, so I made it happen." Heejin smiled. "Donghyuck actually suggested it."

Donghyuck stood silently again. He let them all have their moment. He wasn't a part of their family, so he stayed out of it.

"Thank you, Donghyuck. She wouldn't do anything if it weren't for you." Heejin's mom said, giving Donghyuck a hug, too.

"Can I stay here? I really don't wanna go back home." Junhee begged. He hated being at home with his dad. He was so stupid and didn't give a shit about him.

Heejin and their mom both nodded. Junhee smiled and Heejin led him upstairs. "You can sleep in the guest room."

Junhee went inside the room and Heejin shut the door. She went back to her room, finding Donghyuck grabbing his things. She went over and hugged him from behind.

"Where are you going?" Heejin questioned.

"I don't wanna interrupt anything that's happening here. I'm going back to my house." Donghyuck said, putting his hands on top of Heejin's, which were tightly secured around his waist.

Heejin pouted. "No, stay."

Donghyuck shook his head. "I can't."

"You can. I want you to." Heejin protested, slipping Donghyuck's jacket off his shoulders.

"Are you sure?" Donghyuck asked. He didn't want to ruin anything that would be happening with her brother.

"Yes, I'm sure." Heejin replied. "I want you here."

Donghyuck eventually agreed to stay, setting his stuff back down where it had been. The two cuddled on Heejin's bed for awhile. Heejin had fallen asleep after only a few seconds. Donghyuck watched her peacefully sleep and wondered how he had gotten so lucky to have someone like Heejin in his life.
