...Jealousy Wears Red and Sometimes Green...

A/N: YO! This is gonna show Mao Mao's jealousy at different ages. Baby Mao, Green Bean Mao, and the current Mao Mao we know and love. Time to see how Mao Mao showed he was jealous and who was he jealous of.

~Baby Mao~(Him: 6, You: 5)

"Hey, (Y/N), come on! Let's play a game!" Mao Mao says, struggling to get you away from Bao Bao. You were Mao Mao's best friend! Why were you paying more attention to Bao Bao and not him?!

Mao Mao feels a little satisfaction when you finally look away from Bao Bao, but that was short lived "Hm? Sorry, Mao Mao, I can't. I wanna try to give Bao Bao a B-A-T-F." You whisper "It's B-A-T-H," Mao Mao tells you before whining "But I wanna spend time with you!" You give Mao Mao a gentle smile before looking back at Bao Bao "Give me 5 minute then, we can play! I promise." You say, before struggling to carry Bao Bao towards the river.

~10 minutes later~

You weren't even gone that long, but to Mao Mao it felt like years. When you and Bao Bao finally return, you were soaking wet and Bao Bao was messier than before "What happened?" Mao Mao asks, grumbling. "Bao Bao knocked me into the river and ran into the mud," You sigh "Turns out giving Bao Bao a bath is harder than I thought." Mao Mao rolls his eyes and glares at ground "Hey, do you still wanna play a game-" You get cut off by Bao Bao barking and pulling on your sleeve. You give Bao Bao a confused look and Mao Mao finally snaps.

"AAAAAAUGH! THAT'S IT," Mao Mao yells, flailing his arms and pulling me away from Bao Bao "(Y/N), YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND! PAY ATTENTION TO ME....please...." Mao Mao sniffles and clumsily wipes tears away from his eyes. You let out a gasp and hold Mao Mao cheek "Aw geez, I'm sorry Mao Mao! Please don't cry!" You says, now crying yourself. "You promise to *sniff* play with me?" Mao Mao asks, wiping the snot from his nose. "Uh huh, I promise!" You say, smiling widely, Mao Mao smiles as well before proudly taking your hand and dragging you off. While you too were walking, Mao Mao gives Bao Bao a look that says "I win." And Bao Bao gives him a look that says "Huh? I'm hungry."

~Green Bean Mao~(Him: 16, You: 15)

You and Mao Mao were walking through a town, hand in hand. You two have been dating for 5 months and Mao Mao finally got better at PDA. As in, he isn't sweating every time you touch him in public.

"Alright, how about we split up," You suggest "I'll go check out the bakeries and you check out the villagers." Mao Mao raises an eyebrow "You're just saying that so you can get samples aren't you?" He asks. "Yep!" You laugh, walking away. Mao Mao chuckles as he watches you leave.

~Time Skip~

Mao Mao finish talking the villagers, well he TRIED talking to them. The villagers were kinda-mean and selfish. "Gotta find, (Y/N) before someone hurts her!" Mao Mao whispers, speeding towards the bakery. Mao Mao stops in his track when he see you talking to a boy.

"Who is that?" Mao Mao growls, his eyes widen "Wait I can growl?" He asks surprised. Mao Mao frowns and walks into the bakery "There you are, Mao!" You grin, pulling Mao Mao close to you. Mao Mao smiles at you before glaring harshly at the boy "Mao, this is my old friend, Steven! I meet him when we went to that town of crystal people!" You tell Mao Mao. Steven laughs awkwardly "Those were gems, (Y/N)." He says, Mao Mao let out strained sigh "Well, it's nice to meet you." Mao Mao says. "Steven was just telling me about how cruel the people are here," You say, earning Mao Mao's attention "I hope you didn't go through any trouble." Mao Mao smiles before letting out a cocky scoff "Nah, it was nothing I couldn't handle." He says.

Steven looks at you and then looks at the counter "Oh, (Y/N). Your cupcake is done." Steven tells you. "Sweet!" You cheer, leaving the boys behind "I don't like you." Mao Mao admits. "I noticed," Steven laughs "Don't worry, I have a girlfriend." Mao Mao's eyes widen and he looks away embarrassed. You come back with you cupcake "Sorry (Y/N), I gotta head back now, I'll see you later!" Steven says walking away.

Mao Mao pulls you into a hug, slightly growling. "Wait you can growl?" You ask, tilting your head "I guess I can can." Mao Mao says, shrugging.

~Red Mao~(Him: 34?, You: 33)

Mao Mao lets out a frustrated sigh. You were hardly spending anytime with him! And why was that?

Parker S. Mao (A/N: He's a newborn in this)

Yes he was cute and Mao Mao was happy to have a son, but he missed cuddling on the couch with you. Mao Mao walked by to see Parker is his crib, gurgling.

Mao Mao wanted to be mad, but he couldn't. Parker was too cute. Mao Mao smiles before you softly call "Mao, don't take Parker out of his crib. He's supposed to be napping for a bit."

Mao Mao eyes widen with joy before he runs out Parker's room and throws you over his shoulder. "Ah, what are you doing?!" You gasp "Spending time with my wife." Mao Mao says proudly, walking into the living room.
