A few weeks later Moonhae works hard on perfecting her new choreography. Watching her own reflection in the floor to ceiling mirrors, she critiques her every move, practicing it over and over until she's finally pleased. Her team of choreographers gives her instructions on every part of the dance and aid to her posing as backup dancers.
An hour into practice her reflection in the glass seems to swim a little in front of her eyes. Blinking the blurriness away, she keeps focus on her moves. The dizziness comes back however, no matter how hard she tries to will it away. The feeling reminds her of when she used to faint all the time when her neck injury was acting up. She thought she had overcome that, but maybe not completely?
With the next turn she makes, the blackness closes in around her vision. She can't even hear the others asking her if she's alright as she loses consciousness the next second, dropping to the hardwood floor.
"Moon! Moon?", the choreographers rush to her side, immediately pulling her onto her back and pushing her knees up, so her blood can circulate a little better.
"Can someone get a medic in here?"
It takes a few minutes for one to arrive, but they're lucky to have a medic on site. He kneels next to the girl everyone else is fanning and getting water for.
"Can someone notify Taehyung? He wanted to be called if anything like this ever happened again", one helper informs them, sending another off to find the boy in the company building.
"Moon, can you hear me? Are you awake?", the medic asks the girl in a clear voice.
Her eyelids flutter open slowly, her expression hazed and confused at everyone leaning over her.
"What happened?", she whispers.
"You blacked out for moment. Are you with us now?"
"Yeah... I'm good", she responds groggily.
"Lets sit you up and you have a drink of water", the medic suggests, handing her a bottle.
As she drinks, they go through a list of questions.
"How's your neck?"
"I think my neck is fine", she tells him as she rubs at it, "It doesn't feel bad, but maybe it's acting up again? I don't know."
"What about your diet? When is the last time you've eaten?", a choreographer cuts in.
"I've been eating a lot actually", she assures them, "You can check my blood sugar levels if you want. Some things made me pretty sick though recently."
Some of the staff exchange looks that Moonhae can't quite pinpoint.
"When's the last time you had your period?", the medic then asks, catching on as well.
"Um...", she runs a hand through her hair thoughtfully, "I missed it again, because of stress. But that happens from time to time. Do you think that's what's causing me to faint?"
"Not exactly...", he speaks carefully to the oblivious girl.
"I switched birth control as well, so maybe that's why I didn't get it?", she suggests.
"There's also a possibility...", the medic rubs his hands together, "That you might be pregnant."
Upon hearing that she feels like fainting again. There's no way in hell that she's pregnant. There's no way in hell that she can even deal with that thought.
"What the fuck?", she immediately curses, "There's no way."
"All we're saying is that it could be a possibility", he tries to calm her.
