"Taehyung-ah! Can you please just tell me where we're going?!", Moonhae frantically stuffs random clothes into her suitcase sprawled out on the floor.
Of course, the red-haired boy, who's bags are already packed, is of no help as he seems to be looking for snacks in her kitchen.
"You'll see", he starts giggling to himself.
"I don't even know what to pack if you don't tell me!", she whines.
"You'll be fine, just hurry up. Our train leaves in an hour", he unintentionally adds to her stress.
"Great", she grunts, quickening her pace to get everything ready.
Somehow she manages to pull two large suitcases together into the entrance of her apartment just in time. Taehyung, who's standing there waiting for her, eyes her bags with raised eyebrows.
"How much stuff are you bringing? We're only gone for three days", he complains, holding one small duffle bag in his hand.
"Oh shut up, you're the one who won't tell me where we're going or what we're doing", she gets annoyed.
"Fine", he sighs, wheeling her stuff to the elevator and then to the car service they're taking.
With a bit of luck, they manage to make it onto the train with all of their belongings right on time. Taehyung gets help from the train staff to stow everything away, as they're sitting in a private area away from the rest of the passengers. Otherwise things could get crazy with people recognizing them.
Moonhae sits back in her seat across from Taehyung and is about to relax when there's an announcement over the train's intercom system.
"Good morning, passengers. We welcome you aboard our high-speed KTX train. Today we're traveling from Seoul Station to Daegu without any stops in between. I repeat: This is the express train from Seoul to Daegu", a friendly female voice announces.
"Daegu?", Moonhae whispers to herself in confusion.
"Daegu?", she says again louder in a more panicked tone.
"Daegu?!", she meets Taehyung's eyes, who just grins at her.
"DAEGU?!", she slams her palms against the armrests of her seat.
"KIM TAEHYUNG, YOU ARE NOT TAKING ME TO MEET YOUR PARENTS, ARE YOU?", she yells loud enough to wake everyone in the next cabin.
The boy just sits there smugly, smiling his little smile, seeming more like a devil now with that red hair of his. He knew exactly what he was doing from the beginning and purposely didn't tell her.
"Do you have any idea how much time I need to prepare myself for that?!", she continues angrily.
"Why? You'll be fine", his smile turns boxy at how she's reacting.
"No, no, Taehyung. Nothing will be fine", she starts going into overdrive, panic creeping into her voice which she attempts to keep calm, "The last time I met a boyfriend's parents, mind you a very long time ago, they told me to leave their son the fuck alone. So no, Taehyung, I need time to prepare, so your parents don't think I'm some lowly whore you picked up off the street."
"Moonhae, no one would ever think such a thing", he leans forward to rest a reassuring hand on her thigh, "Especially not my parents. They'll love you."
"Not when they first meet me. Everyone hates me when they first meet me", she shakes her head frantically.
"What are you talking about?", he huffs.
