I woke up from a notification saying that I was now accepted as a fast food crew. Ilang beses ko pa itong binasa ng hindi magsink-in sa utak ko.

What do they mean fast food crew?

I read the letter I received from the email once again and it really says 'fast food crew'. Halos manlumo naman ako nang marealize kung anong klase trabaho ba papasukin ko.

I applied in an agency that recruits a team to be sent to a certain company depends on his/her qualifications. Then does this means I am only qualified for this job?

Ugh! Don't they know how much socialization does this work needs? First time ko pa lang magtatrabaho tapos ganito na kaagad kahirap? Seriously, once I took a step at their shop I'll be fired.

I sit up straight and red my resume again. Maybe, it's because of my resume?

Part time job... able to work for 4-5 hours... no experience...

Bumuntong hininga ako. Siguro nga talagang papasa lang ako sa ganito since I am only looking for a part time job under an agency.

Pwede na siguro to? This is good enough to make me busy but ugh, what the hell, I don't like talking to people. What if there's a rude customer and I can't help muself but to fight her? It's not like I can carry Kelsey or Baltazar with me.

Goodness! Bahala na nga. What's important is I have a job now.

Inayos ko na ang mga documents ko nang marealize ko ma wala pa nga palang nag-iinterview sakin but I got accepted immediately. How did that happened?

What if this is a mistake?

Kaagad kong dinial ang numero ng agency. After a few seconds they picked up the call.

"Hello?" I tried to sound casual.

"Hello, this is H.V.N. Company how can we help you?"  The person in charge asked. I took a deep breathe.

"Uh hi, I am Sage Thompson and I sent my resume to your agency last few days. Uhm, I received an email that I got accepted as a fast food crew." Paliwanag ko.

"Okay." Aniya.

"But I haven't been interviewed. How come I was accepted?" The person in charge of calls suddenly became silent. I heard papers grumblings at the background.

"Uh, you are Ms. Thompson right?" Aniya.

"Yes." Like what I said – pinigilan kong sabihin.

"Actually, this fast food company is very interested in  accepting you and they think interview won't be necessary anymore." Kumunot naman ang noo ko.

"What do they mean it's not necessary?" Tanong ko.

The person in the phone sighed. "Uhm, Miss Thompsom, let's just say that... they know you." Paliwanag niya.

They know me? Paano nila ako makikilala? I don't have anyone here at Manila.

"Do you think I'll believe you." Sabi ko hindi na mapigilan ang sarili.

"Uhm, you wrote Mariclaire Luces, right?" Natigilan naman ako. I forgot that I wrote Mom's name.

"So I got accepted because of her?" Tanong ko. Bumuntong hininga ako.

Wow. Is she really that powerful that she can manipulate every company in this country?

"I don't think I can answer that. Uhm, for now just attend your the given schedule of your work. Thank you for calling. Have a nice day." Sagot niya naman at saka ibinaba ang tawag.
