Allison's POV 7

Wow. I looked down from the top of the hill and saw... a lot of things. I saw a forest, a lake, an arena, a field of strawberries, a four-story house, twelve cabins, and a bunch of other things.

"What is this place?" I asked Cherry, even though I doubted she knew the answer.

"I have no idea," she responded.

"Well, let's find out," I said.

And with that, Cherry and I walked down into the valley. We saw a bunch of kids and teenagers in orange shirts playing volleyball at a volleyball court, eating under a big Greek-style building, and fighting with swords. Wait, fighting with swords? What was this place? Was that a pegasus that just flew above my head? I must be going crazy....

My thoughts were interrupted by a centaur, though this one was different from the centaur I had seen earlier. His horse coat was white, and he had a scraggly beard on his face.

"Can I help you?" he asked.

"Yes," Cherry said, "My name is Cherry and this," she pointed at me, "is Allison. We were at school today, and I got a note saying to get in a taxi, and the taxi was magic and made of smoke, and when we got here it dissolved into mist."

While Cherry explained our situation, my eyes wandered. I saw kids walking around the cabins, and one of them, a boy around my age with curly brown hair and blue eyes, winked at me and smirked. I turned away, my face red, and returned my eyes to Cherry and the centaur. Cherry took a deep breath and looked at the centaur.

"I see," said the centaur, stroking his beard, "Well, this is Camp Half-Blood, and I'm Chiron, the activities director here, and-"

"Wait," I interrupted, "What's a half-blood?"

"I think you'd be better off hearing it from one of our campers," Chiron said, "I'll find some campers to give you guys camp tours-"

"Hey Chiron," said someone from behind me, "Do you need someone to give a tour?"

I turned around and saw the guy who had winked at me earlier walking towards us.

"Actually, yes I do," Chiron said, "Thank you, Connor. And... Malcolm, could you come over here?"

A boy who looked about a year older than me with blonde hair and gray eyes came over to where we were standing and looked at Chiron, waiting for what he had to say.

"Connor, could you give Allison a camp tour and explain the... situation to her? Same goes for you with Cherry, Malcolm" said Chiron.

"Sure," Connor said with a smile on his face.

"Do I have to?" asked Malcolm, clearly annoyed. He kept looking the other way as if trying to mentally transport somewhere else..

"Yes," said Chiron, and Malcolm groaned.

Chiron galloped away, and Malcolm walked towards the arena, Cherry following behind him yelling, "Wait!"
