Or maybe she is just part of my imagination since I have been thinking of her lately. Sobrang laki ng pinagbago ni Mars since the last time I saw her. Kaya I'm still in doubt if it's really her. She became so beautiful, sophisticated--and oh God. How did she achieved that figure?

"Mars, this is Nike." Patuloy lang si Sam sa pag-iintroduce sa aming dalawa. Without knowing we are best friends. But I'm totally speechless and the only thing I can do is to stare Mars in awe.

"Mars Estrada?" Parang hindi pa ako masyadong convince at baka kasi nagkamali ako ng dinig. "I-s that really you?"

Instead of answering me ay lumapit sakin si Mars. Sobrang intimidated ako sa prisensya nya. We look at each other really intensely. "Nike.." Jesus, kahit boses ni Mars ay nagbago. Then she smiles. "I'm a fan."

Bigla akong napahawak sa dibdib ko sa pagkabigla. "Oh my God." Pinagmasdan ko si Mars mula ulo hanggang paa. "Hindi kita nakilala.."

"I bet." Mars laughed softly and it makes my heart tingles. "Para kang nakakita ng multo."

"Well.." Nagblushed ang mukha ko at napakagat labi. My mannerism kapag nag-iisip. "Seeing you is the least thing on my mind." Mars got quiet and listen to me very eagery. "I mean after all these years without hearing anything from you."

Mars beautiful face softened. "Nike, I.."

"Ahem." Biglang napaubo si Sam, we already forgotten her. "It seems like I need to go." Napatingin kami kay Sam na pangiti ngiti lang. "Mukhang marami kayong dapat pag-uusapan."

"Wait.." Pag-awat ni Mars kay Sam. "I thought we have a meeting?"

"It's not important Mars." Sam wave her hand. "We can set a meeting some other time."

Mars looks a little worried. "Are you sure?" Now I wonder kung paano sila nagkakilala ni Sam at kung ano ang trabaho nya. O Napatupad ba ni Mars ang pangarap nya?

"Of course." Pag-aassure ni Sam kay Mars before looking at me and wink. "Ciao lovers."

Lovers? Pambihira talaga itong si Samantha, kung ano ano ang iniisip.

After a few minutes, Sam is already out of our sight pero wala paring nagsasalita sa pagitan namin ni Mars. We just take our time and I took mine to congest na my best friend is back. Iyon nga lang ay parang sobrang layo na nya sa Mars na kilala ko.

"Nike.." I heard her says my name kaya napatingin ako sa kanya.

Titig na titig ako kay Mars. She's just... Really beautiful. "For?"

Huminga sya ng malalim. "For not communicating with you." I didn't say anything at all. "I'm sorry."

I remembered, I promised to myself na kukomprontahin ko si Mars sa hindi pagrereach out sakin for so many years. Nakakasama lang ng loob na sa tagal naming magkaibigan ay kahit isang beses ay wala akong marinig from her. Pero sa kabilang banda naisip ko din na sino ba ako para kwestyunin si Mars? Look at her... She looks so well educated, refined and very regal. Mars probably work hard for it. So, I guess it's worth it.

Ganon naman talaga diba? Minsan we have to sacrifice just to achieved what we want. Pero ang importante ngayon ay bumalik na si Mars.

Marahan kong nilapitan si Mars at walang salita na niyakap ko siya ng mahigpit. "I miss you so much."

"Nike.." At naramdaman ko ang pagyakap ni Mars sakin. My heart is beating so fast that it makes me hard to breath. "You have no idea."

Hindi ko namalayan na naiyak ako sa saya na nararamdaman ko. "I thought I would never see you again Mars."
