Headline: Kim Hana and Jeon Jungkook in Animated Conversation, Possible Relationship?

It's 5am and I am in my office, furiously typing away. The sun has not yet risen and I am working under artificial light. There has been a new lead in the case I am working on which forced me to work overnight. Suddenly, the light outside my office switches on. I already know who it is.

Mira gives her signature knock on my door before waltzing into my office.

My head shoots up, glasses nearly falling off my nose bridge and hair frazzled.

I am such a mess.

"Good, you're here. I need some information on-"

Before I can finish, she sticks her phone in front of me. I wince at the white light that's a huge contrast with my orangey lights. I scramble to read whatever's on the screen but when I read the headline, a soft smile appears on my face.

"Hana. They think you're dating," Mira says flatly. I let out a laugh at that.

"Mira, dear, the only thing the business world needs is romance. No one cares about CEOs "flirting" it up," I quote the word "flirting".

"This could affect business deals," Mira continues.

"How so?" I challenged her. My biggest worry was the case right now - I could care less about a scandal.

"The case you're working on. The client's filing a lawsuit against Jeon Communications," Mira said.

"I think my heart just died," I reply without missing a beat.

The client is going to think there's some hidden agenda. We're not going to be taken seriously. Oh, God.

"This is serious!" Mira shrieks (she doesn't care since the office is empty).

"I know it is! We could lose this client," my words are rushed as I stand up, my chair rolling behind me till it hit the glass window.

How did I miss this? I literally just spoke to the CEO of the company I'm going against in court. What the bloody hell have I done? How did I just gloss over that?

"What do we do?" I mumble.

We could contact Jeon Communications? But then that might make things worse since this lawsuit is against them. Shoot, what if Jungkook only spoke to me because he wanted to stir this up knowing it'd disrupt the court case? Shit. There really is no casual talk in business. He was doing it for this.

"Someone's calling," Mira yelps as she shows me her phone.

I want to cry.

I take it and gingerly hit "answer".

"Hello?" I wince as the familiar scary voice cuts my thoughts.

"Are you conspiring with Jeon Communications?" Mr Lee spoke eerily calmly. Mr Lee was our biggest client, filing the lawsuit of the century against Jeon Communications.

"No! Absolutely not. It was a casual chat that should have never happened. I apologise for the misunderstanding," I immediately switch over to my work voice.

"I don't care what it is. I expect this to be cleaned up," was his last statement before hanging up. I let out a shaky exhale before forcing the brightest smile.

"I'm going to go fix this," I say in exasperation before collecting my phone and throwing the car keys at Mira, who after having been thrown keys at many times, catches it perfectly.
