Headline: Should the Government Give This Much Power to Korea's Wealthiest

It's been four hours into the flight. I'm typing away on my laptop while Mira's watches a film. We got pretty bored of the speech an hour into it and I'm starting to get tired. Dinner was fine. I wish I'd enjoyed it more.

Every interaction with Jungkook keeps me awake and it irritates me.

"I'm going to go take a shower," I say as I pick up the airline's pajamas. Mira gives me a distracted thumbs-up as I undo my ponytail. I slip into the cotton slippers, padding to the bathroom whilst ruffling my hair about. A suite's door swings open and Jungkook walks out.

"Hana?" he breaks into a grin. I offer a tired one.

"Where are you off to?" he asks curiously as he closes the door.

"To jump off the plane," I say. The joke doesn't have the impact I intend it to have because I say it so monotonously.

"Are you okay?" he asks.

"Yeah. I'm just irritated about something and I'm even more frustrated because I don't know why it irritates me," I say truthfully. It's not a lie.

"Meet me at the bar in half an hour?" he asks.

"You can just come to my suite after I'm done showering. Mira's going after me and she takes the longest showers. I'll knock on your door once I'm done," I offer and he nods. We part ways. Me to the bathroom, him to the bar for beverages.

I knock pause a little before knocking on Jungkook's door. I'm still slightly shivering from how much colder the plane is compared to the warm shower. My hair is still slightly damp, though I must say the shampoo smells incredible here. It takes a while for him to open the door.

It's like there's some unspoken code because neither of us talk on the way to my suite.

"Mira, you can go shower now," I say. Mira looks up and when she sees Jungkook, we form an unspoken code too. She instantly leaves, closing the door behind us.

I gesture Jungkook to sit on my seat as I sit on the edge of my bed.

"What's up?" I ask, a little uncomfortable at the formality that poisons the air. Jungkook's flaming red hair is still on his head although his roots are already turning black.

"I could ask you the same thing," he pushes the question back to me. I'm surprised at the slight bitterness in his voice.

"Are you good?" I ask, my heart already speeding up.

"I'm fine. Are you?" he asks with so much force that I know he's referring to the answers I've been giving him. I wince slightly and he sighs quietly.

"I just don't like this feeling. I know something's wrong but you refuse to tell me - which is your right. But I just feel left out in some strange way. I want to help you but then," and then his monologue takes a turn as he, too, literally takes a turn to fully face me, "I can't help but feel like you're upset at me."

It's silent as my eyes go wide.

"What?" I force it out as breezily as I can.

"See! You're doing it again! You keep- I don't know! You're acting so strangely towards me," his eyes soften and I feel a pang of guilt. I know I'm at fault. I'm the one feeling salty for no reason. I run a hand through my hair to buy some time.

"I don't know. I think I'm stressed," I say. I'm also trying to come up with a reason for why I'm feeling this way. Jungkook frowns.

"Well, figure out how you're feeling and maybe decide to talk to me then," he says, hurt engraved in his eyes, before leaving. When he opens the door, we see Mira pacing back and forth. Jungkook brushes past her and Mira stares at me wide-eyed. I fall back onto my bed.
