Last night I stayed with Beth - I couldn't sleep in my own bed with Kenzie anyway because Fliss was there. Beth told me everything that was bothering her and I told her a way to fix it, it was a bit like I was giving her a therapy session.
"You're very good at this" she told me, which is strange because I can never seem to sort out my own problems.

When I woke up this morning there was a note, that I assume Kenzie wrote because it looked like her handwriting, taped to the side of the bed. It read

"Amalie, meet at entrance - going on supply run"

Beth was still sleeping and I didn't want to wake her so I decided to leave another note for her, telling Beth where I was going.

As I stroll towards the front entrance, where Kenzie had instructed me to go, I see the group of older teenagers who will be accompanying me on the supply run. There is of course Mackenzie, my little sister, and her best friend Fliss. I also notice four tall boys standing with them. They are all so good looking that I start to feel nervous about the supply run. Which is weird because if I was to feel anxious about this run you'd think it would be because there is a chance that I could possibly die. But it's not. That possibility doesn't bother me anymore, I've came to terms with it every time I nearly have died.

"H..hi.." I stutter in an incredibly low voice, making me sound like I have a cold.
"Ams, you made it!" Kenzie runs up and hugs me with a big grin on her face. I stand there stiffly, weirded out by Kenzie. For starters she never calls me Ams. Then to add on to that she's acting like she hasn't seen me in ages with the hugging and all. Then lastly she has her freaky smile to go with it. She's acting just as awkward as me, if not more.

"Yeah... I um made it back from the bathroom, thanks for caring" I cough so my voice is clear. Everyone laughs at my comment and I blush. I wasn't trying to be funny, I was being sarcastic to my sister.

Kenzie loosens her grip on me and drags me by my hand over to the four boys. She introduces me to each one.

First there's Luke who has the most amazing blonde quiff, and is the tallest of the boys. He has beautiful crystal blue eyes and a black lip ring.

Then there's Michael who also has brilliant hair, it's kind of spiky and crazy and is dyed a galaxy blue/purple but I love it - he even let's me touch it!

Next there's Calum and the first thing he blurts out to me "I'm not Asian!" I laugh at this because I did actually think he was Asian when I first saw him. He has that look about him. However after he tells me that he isn't, in fact, Asian I can see that he isn't.

The last one is called Ashton, though most of the time everyone calls him Ash. He has nearly the same colour hair as me, a dirty blonde sort of colour, except his is a lot darker and more brown. It is very curly and looks so soft. He immediately smiles and shakes hands with me. When he smiles he shows off all of his clean white teeth and the most beautiful dimples appear on his face, he looks so happy. I look down at his hand as he shakes mine. His hands are so big. His fingers are twice the length of mine. Ashton sees the look on my face and giggles,
"I know, haha, my hands are very big" . His laugh is so loud and cute, it varies in being high and low and I don't know why but I don't want him to stop laughing.
All of the boys have incredible Australian accents that I also could listen to all day.

Fliss reminds us that we are all wasting time and need to get a move on. So we all grab our weapons and head for the car. Luke insists on driving as he got his licence recently and we don't argue. He happily jumps into the front seat and we zoom off.
