Once Gale is finished with me he strolls over slyly to the crib with my crying baby Hazel inside. I try to scream again.
"Aw don't worry, I would never hurt this little one. Obviously you can't tell anyone about this unless you do want me to hurt Hazel" he sneers. "If anyone asks a walker got him!"
I try to look away to avoid his stare but he just turns my head around with his hand. He quickly rips the tape from my mouth and kisses me again.
He then continues to untie me and leaves the room. I go over to Hazel and cuddle her, I can't bare to look at what's left of my little Carl.
About 10 minutes later Glenn arrives, "sorry I took so long, the line was really big but I got some..." Glenn sees my glum expression on my face. "Maggie? What's wrong" he puts the food down and runs up to me.
"Where's Carl?"
I point to the end of the bed where Carl lays dead on the floor next to. I watch, tears trailing down my face, as Glenn anxiously walks over. His eyes widen and start to water as he registers what he is seeing, "what.. where.. Maggie?" He runs out of words.
I want to tell him but I can't, I can't because Gale will come for Hazel. Instead I just cry as Glenn puts his arms around me.
"Maggie you're gonna have to tell me what happened" he says rather sternly.
I take a deep breath and realise I have to tell him. Before I know it everything that happened floods out of me as fast as my tears. I can see Glenn's face fill with anger as I explain what Gale did to me and Carl. He then storms out of the room.
"Wait!" I try to call after him, but I know it's useless Glenn is going to Gale and there's no stopping him.
