It feels like all my problems have been solved and heaps of new problems have been thrown at me at the same time. Costco was our main goal and we got it. It's secure and safe here.

I don't know what to do about Kenzie. Fliss has been her best friend for God knows how long. She's not coping well, she won't speak to me and it's hard to get her to eat. Which really shows something's wrong because me and her love, and I mean LOVE, our food. Luke's been helping a lot, she seems to do what he tells her. It's like she's under his spell or been hypnotised or something. I have a feeling something is happening between those two.

I don't know what's going on with me and Ashton. After the pharmacy we straight away watched Fliss shoot herself in the head. We had to cope with that and now we occasionally talk when we see each other but nothing has really happened.

My next concern is Beth. She's also getting better and we are getting pretty close. So I can tell that Beth won't be a problem for too long and doesn't really need to be looked after anymore.

The most major issue is obviously Maggie's pregnancy. I've realised, however, that this doesn't need to be a big problem. Instead it is a blessing; showing that new life can come during all of this hell. That sounded a lot less cheesy in my head but it's true. All we need to do is make sure we have the correct equipment and stuff for the baby.

I go to see Hazel often. She's gradually gotten to know her nurse, who is Prim the girl who helped me with Beth. Prim is around 14 I think meaning she is younger than Hazel. This doesn't seem to bother them though and they chat away.

Right now I'm sitting in the canteen at a table by myself, everyone else is apparently too busy with being pregnant or getting over their best friends death to eat with me.

I look up and see a woman wearing some quite extravagant clothes considering this is an apocalypse. Behind her trails 3 small children and a middle aged man.
"Come, come!" She says in a very posh and high voice. She gestures her hand for them to move along into the queue of people waiting for food. One of her small children has different ideas and moves towards me and sits down.
"Why are you alone?" the little girl asks looking up at me with her big blue eyes.
"All my friends are busy at the moment" I tell her with a smile.
"I can be your friend" the adorable child smiles showing her crooked teeth, dimples appearing on her chubby cheeks.
"Mahogany!" The little girls mother shouts in a whispered tone, "stop talking to strangers and come here!"
"It's okay, I don't mind" I tell the woman. "I was about to leave anyway"
The man, I'm guessing the posh woman's husband speaks up "Effie, you're scaring her away! Look honey finish your sausage roll, don't worry about us"
I smile and sit back down awkwardly and take another bite of my sausage roll. I actually had finished eating because the sausage roll had got cold and now did not leave a good impression on my tastebuds.

As I finish the last crumb of my food the family walk over to me.
"Ah, hello there again young lady" the woman places a sandwich in front of me. "There doesn't appear to be any free tables so we have to sit with you" she explains.
"We got you the sandwich because we are causing you very much inconvenience" the oldest looking child says. I widen my eyes at her vocabulary. I thank them for my sandwich and tell them that I really don't mind.

For a while there's an awkward silence until I decide to say "so you're names Magogany, that's an unusual name"
"Well I have always been very passionate about that type of wood" the mother pipes up "and my name is Effie by the way, Effie Trinket"
The man fake coughs loudly "excuse me?"
"I mean Effie Abanathy" she forces a crooked smile and whispers "I hate that name"
Her husband introduces himself as Haymitch and tells me his oldest daughter is named Stella after the beer Stella Artois and their middle child is named Cinna after an old friend who died.

I comment on Effies nice clothes. "These old things?" She pulls a disgusted face, "oh dear, no, I had much nicer clothes than these, much nicer"
"Here we go again" I hear Haymitch mutter under his breath as the children giggle.
Effie ignores his comment and continues "All of my old clothes were ruind or left behind, these clothes were the nicest I could find" she then strokes her headscarf "I miss my wigs!"
I chuckle before telling them that I've got to leave.
