JUV'S POV

This month is full of programs. Anisa together with Fist will represent our section in pageant. The performers of the jingle are just busy as bee and panicking as ant.

"Juvani, support mo kami ni Fist ha," sabi ni Anisa. "Bukas na 'yon. Dapat may pa-banner ka."

"You'll get my support but not the banners."

I'm busy with some activity, I just need to answer three Guide Questions. It  will be passed tomorrow acty but time is free as well as me, so why not?

"Okay lang, 'yong squad ko na lang bahala at si Hallyx."

All the seconds she was speaking to me, my face was just in the notebook that I spent my ink to but when she mentioned Hallyx I lifted up my face on her.

"You two, seems like close. When it started?" I asked as I closed my activity sheet.

"Sa araw na naging close rin tayo," she answered. "Lahat naman ka-close ko. Literal lahat. Miss Friendship na ka-agad ako, hindi ba?"

"Of course, you are."

I just shrugged and put my focus on the activity that I've been spending my free time.

Anisa is a girl that can be ratio-ed to confidence. Her bubbly personality is magnetizing all attitude in this room.

"Hey," she muttered.

"What?" I asked, a little bit pissed.

"Ah...wala."

The conversation ended.

As I remember, this is the day that I will write an essay. As the one club-officer came to our room, calling for the participant of essay writing contest. Sandra and I, just excused ourselves.

With the same theme as the one-shot writing contest. I wrote my ideas down. It's actually flowing. I am not really sure if this will discuss all my ideas in head. 'Cause my mind was rapid, so I just wrote it down without anything to think but to express my opinion, then revise it later.

I finished it but then I read it once more. That, that I rewrite it. I forgot some important words. I was really cussing myself in skipping that important words.

I'm done.

Sandra was fine with her, she was bit late in passing it in front but she had the smile. I think it's a good sign.

Other section had five or so participants but in our section we are only two. Well, quality over quantity. Uh! Vanity.

Lunch, natapos na kami. There, I saw Kobi. I deigned myself.

"Ingresio, I-lu-lunch ko ba ang prinsesa mo?" tanong niya.

"You will eat her for lunch? What a word!?" I exclaimed.

"Ewan ko sa'yo. Basta, hindi ako p'ede, kasali ako sa jingle. Ikaw na lang. Idaan mo na lang sa mathematical formula. Sige, breakaneck!"

He patted my back.

Then, I found myself thinking kung paano ko yayayain si Hallyx na mag-lunch.

She don't even lay eyes on me. After what happened in store, she didn't care for at least a little explanation on why  I became a teacher. She's just talking to me about academic matters. If recess and lunch are school subjects then I would be in so much bliss. Every lunch time with Hallyx, she will earn 20 points. Every points is in 10% on the report card. She would always say 'Yes' if it's about academic matters.
