Kinabukasan sa skwelahan Zaiven and Vin sat together on a bench in the school courtyard during lunch. The lively chatter of other students filled the air, but Zaiven’s attention was focused primarily on Vin. Zaiven's eyes followed Vin’s every move, though he tried to mask his intensity with casual conversation.
Vin, happily munching on his sandwich, glanced around at the bustling courtyard.
May ibang nag rereview.
Zaiven nodded, his tone slightly edged with concern. “Yeah, it is. But you should be careful. Some of these people can be... unpredictable.” observing the people around.
Making him a bit irritated.
Vin laughed lightly, not catching the underlying tone. “I’m sure it’s fine. I’m not too worried.”
Zaiven leaned a little closer, his voice lowering. “I just mean, I’d prefer if you stayed around here with me. It’s safer, you know?”
Napaisip naman si Navine. Tingin ba nya kailangan ko ng protektsyon? Maybe I am. Well at least he's being considerate.
Vin looked at Zaiven with a smile, finding his concern endearing. “I appreciate that. But you know, I like to walk around and hang out with other friends sometimes.”
Zaiven’s expression darkened slightly, but he quickly masked it with a smile. “Sure, but just let me know where you’ll be. I’d hate to lose track of you.”
Vin, oblivious to Zaiven’s underlying possessiveness, nodded casually. “Of course. I’ll keep you updated.
Zaiven’s eyes followed Vin’s movements closely as he finished his lunch. “Just remember, I’m always here if you need anything.”
Vin, still unaware of the possessiveness, patted Zaiven’s shoulder reassuringly. “Thanks, Zaiven. It’s good to know you’ve got my back. But I need to explain kasi diba they hate you sa mga ginawa mo dati" Wika ni Vin.
His apprentice.
"Zai let's get to our class" pag iinform nito.
As the bell rang, signaling the end of lunch, Zaiven stood up with Vin, his protective nature evident in his constant proximity. Despite Vin’s lack of awareness, Zaiven’s watchful eyes and subtle possessiveness were clear, even if Vin didn’t fully recognize it.
And Senorito Rivo did observe and notice everything. Alam nya na sa mga tingin ni Zaiven ay hindi na lang ito basta pagkahumaling it's deeper than that and making it dangerous.
