Under the cold, haunting light of the moon, Navine stepped cautiously into Zaiven's room. A rush of anxiety coursed through him as he entered, feeling the weight of the moment settled around him. What am I doing here? he wondered, yet turning back felt impossible. His mind spiraled with unsettling thoughts about what might happen next.
Hindi naman siguro kami aabot sa ganung sitwasyon? And Zaiven knows how uncomfortable it is for him. Sinusubukan na lang patatagin ni Navine ang loob at nagtitiwala sa binata na wala itong ibang gagawin.
"Matutulog lang kayo Navine don't overthink" pag aadvice nito sa sarili
“Are you okay?” Zaiven asked, a casual tone in his voice as he rearranged the mattress. “It might be a bit cramped in here.”
“U-uh, okay lang,” Navine managed to reply, his voice trembling slightly. “I just… didn’t expect this.” He felt the heat of embarrassment rising in his cheeks, unable to shake off the foreboding feeling creeping in.
Nang madaanan nya ang sala kanina ay hindi nya maiwasang kabahan. Dahil naalala nya ang ginawa nila doon ni Zaiven. He just put faith in him na wala itong ibang gagawin. Pero parang lalabas ang puso nya sa kaba. Parang hindi nya kaya pero pilit nyang tinatagan ang loob.
He won't do anything. Pagkukumbinsi nito sa sarili.
As Zaiven tidied up the pillows and blankets, Navine’s eyes were drawn to him, unable to look away. Every flex of Zaiven's muscles sent a shiver down his spine, a mix of fascination and fear swirling within him. He shook his head, desperate to dispel the thoughts intruding his mind. Why am I feeling this way?
“Do you want some water?” Zaiven offered, his gaze fixed on Navine with an intensity that made his heart race.
“Ah, hindi na,” Navine replied, forcing himself to look away. The tension in the room was palpable, and it felt like Zaiven was teasing him, heightening his discomfort.
After a few moments, they settled onto the mattress, side by side, the moonlight casting eerie shadows across the room. Silence filled the air, heavy with unspoken emotions.
“Zaiven,” Navine started, his voice shaky as uncertainty clung to his words. “Um, thank you for letting me stay here. It just feels… nice.”
“Walang anuman,” Zaiven said, his tone deceptively warm. “I’m just glad you’re here.” Yet, beneath that facade, darker thoughts brewed in Zaiven's mind, imagining scenarios that made his pulse quicken. What if I could have him all to myself?
Their eyes locked, and suddenly, the atmosphere shifted into something thick with tension. “Do you know how happy I am when I’m with you?” Zaiven asked, his voice laced with an unsettling sincerity.
“Really?” Navine replied, surprise and confusion evident on his face.
“Yeah. It feels so right,” Zaiven said, his eyes glinting in the moonlight. Without warning, he placed a hand behind Navine’s head, pulling him closer, making Navine’s heart pound in his chest.
“Zaiven…” Navine murmured, but the words got caught in his throat. The warmth of Zaiven’s embrace enveloped him, but he couldn’t ignore the sense of impending danger that lurked beneath the surface.
As they embraced, a wave of panic swept over Navine, his heart racing with confusion. Am I okay with this? he thought, a sense of dread coiling in his stomach.
In that moment of fear, he also felt a strange thrill. Under the moonlight, they stood on the precipice of something unknown—a path filled with both promise and peril, each heartbeat echoing his uncertainty.
