ROSIE POV
we arrive to Charlie's clinic. We get out of the car and head in. I saw somebody in the reception area i did not wanna see and he made direct eye contact with me. Charlie made talk with him.
"Is that Rosie Perry?" Dr. Rowell said to Charlie
"Yes but just leave her alone" Charlie says
"According to her file I am still her orthodontist" dr.Rowell said grabbing her file.
"No she isn't you don't do orthodontics anymore Dr.Jones does" Charlie said
"Fine whatever" Dr. Rowell says, clocks out, and leaves the office.
Charlie leads me back into an exam room and had me sit down.
Charlie washes his hands grabs a new tray of tools and applies gloves and mask also places a bib on me.
Shiloh sits in the corner in a chair.
Charlie's reclined the chair and but on his dental light glasses. And grabs the mirror and explorers
"Open" Charlie says softly
I open my mouth and he began looking at my teeth and scrapes some bits of plaque.
He taps one of my teeth I wince and he takes the tools out and I shot up in pain.
I jump out of the chair and went to Shiloh.
"Rosie.. I am sorry I touched your sore tooth.. but you need to get back in the chair for me so i can take another look" Charlie said softly and sets his tools down.
"No.." I whine
Charlie takes off his gloves and crosses his arms. "I am disappointed in you i thought you were going to be be braver"
"Please don't hurt me..." I whine
"Rosie.. I would never hurt you" he says and lowers his mask. And gives her a sincere look that he cares for her. He returns the chair to normal state.
"I need to take xrays" he says and taps the chair.
I hesitantly sat in the chair when he places a lead jacket on me. "What's this?" I ask my heart was still beating really fast. He puts fresh gloves on. "Open" he says
I open and the piece of old was placed and he told me to bite down he went out in the hall hit a button and I heard a buzz noise.
Then he took it out and replaced it and did the other side.
The xrays then popped up on the computer..
he then observed then I turn around and take a look I see at least 3 teeth that had something weird on them. A weird dot.
He sighs. "Well.. well.. well.. it seems like you have three cavities.."
I gulped I am in trouble having my friends brother get mad at me.
He lays me back down and pulls his mask back up. "Open"
I cover my mouth as I don't want him fixing them.
"Could you be honest how long has it been since you'd seen a dentist?"
"2 years" I say quietly still not uncovering my mouth
He sighs "when did your teeth start hurting"
"The first one started a year ago then the 2nd one a month ago and the last one started recently" I say nervously
"One needs a root canal as by the xrays, the 2nd one is pretty deep, the last one is an easy fix" Charlie explained
I gulp. "I don't want them fixed"
I sit up in the chair when he pushed me back down.
"I worry about you Rosie your like family to me and my sister. It's getting fixed today" he says sternly
I start shaking "please no Charlie"
He noticed I was starting to have a an anxiety attack.
He let me sit up.
I look at Shiloh with tears in my eyes.
Shiloh then looks at Charlie.
"Let her be if she doesn't want it fixed then she does not have too"
"She is like family and I'm not letting her get away with this Shiloh! You could exit the room and leave us be" Charlie's strictly says
Shiloh mouth drops open. But she gets up. "Don't leave me!" I say loudly
"I can't argue with my brother i am so sorry I will get you a milkshake later how about that?" She says
"A milkshake sounds nice" I say
"I hope they are sugar free" Charlie mumbles.
"Don't ruin the fun" Shiloh says
"I'm just saying now go wait in my office till we are finished" Charlie's says and points at the door
"No.." I say as Shiloh walks out the door.
"Don't hurt me please!" I yell
"I won't I swear I won't but I need my assistant" he says and gets up and walks out of the room. Leaving me alone in here. I snuck out after he left the room.
I ran to the bathroom and I locked the door and started crying.
CHARLIE POV
I fetch my Assistant Louis. We head on back to the room when I noticed Rosie was not in the room anymore.
"Where is she?" Louis asks
"I have no clue.." I say as I set down my new tray of tools.
I walk out of the room and look in my office.
"Hey Shi do you know where Rosie is?" I ask
"No" Shiloh said
Louis tapped on my shoulder
"Hmm?" I ask
"The bathroom door is locked and I hear crying" Louis said
"Oh okay" I said as I quickly exit my office and head to the bathroom and knock on the door
ROSIE POV
"Who is it" I sob
"It's me" Charlie said
"Go away you are going to hurt me" I say
"No I won't" Charlie said calmly
"You sure" I say as I open the bathroom door.
Charlie looks at me and smiles
"I promise it won't hurt"
I look toward the exit then back at him
"Don't think about it sweetheart you aren't getting far this is an urgent matter" Charlie says
