It been a few weeks since me and Charlie talked about those braces I don't want..
**the night before the orthodontic appointment**
It was after dinner and now I was just taking a nice dip in the pool. Me and Charlie were actually in the pool and he kept splashing me making me mad. But we were laughing about it.
We were just chilling and I decide to sit on a chaise lounge drying off after swimming for a little bit.
Charlie gets out and goes in and brings back some waters for us and hands me a glass
"Thank you"
He nods and sits in the other chaise lounge
A hour later we go in and I go take a shower and lay in my bed and play Minecraft on my Xbox.
I was working on my castle and it was huge I wasn't close to finishing it I just am about to finish the exterior of my castle.
When I'm done I turn off my Xbox and turn in Netflix and watch a movie then I eventually fall asleep. I forgot to brush. Whoops.
I wake up the next morning around 10. Charlie was shaking my shoulder. I bury myself in my blanket as it's summer and I don't wanna get up this earlier. But Charlie decides to pull the duvet off me and pull me on the floor and I hit my chin.
I get up grumpily and get some clothes and head to my bathroom where I proceed to get ready and brush my teeth. Yes I forgot last night but it doesn't really matter as I brushed them this morning.
I go downstairs after I'm ready and sit at the kitchen island stools. "What's for breakfast?"
He hands me some toast.
"We don't have much time as your orthodontic appointment is in a half hour" I say
I eat my toast and sigh as I am not ready
"Fine" I mumble
And finish my toast then we left to go to his office.
I sit in the waiting room with my knees up to my chest.
Another tall man comes out the door. "Is there a Shiloh Stevenson here?"
I look up and get up and walks towards him
"Ahh Shiloh.. aren't you urm.. Dr. Stevenson's sister?" He asks
He leads me to an exam room where he set up.
"Yes I am, he is pretty cool" I say
I sit in the chair and he applies gloves and a mask under his chin
"This examination will not take long.. you'll be good to get braces next week" Dr.Jones says
"I never caught your name" I say
"Oh.. it's Dr.Jones or call me Shaun" he says
"Okay, Shaun haha" I say
"First I'm gonna feel around your jaw" he says and proceeds with his gloves hands and feels around my jaw Line. Then he places the bib around my neck.
Once he finished he reclined me back but on his dental light glasses and pulls up his mask.
"Open" he says
I open and he uses the mirror and explorer to look around my mouth and uses the mirror to look at each side of every tooth.
He then grabs this measurement tool and takes measurements nothing painful
He finishes inside my mouth and returns the chair to normal state
"Now for the molds" he says grabs two trays of pink goop and brings them closer which made me cringe and I have a gag reflex
"I.. I have a gag reflex" I croak
"I will try to be quick as possible" he says
He places the molds in my mouth. My gag reflex was bad and I usually could not control it most of the time. Two minutes has past and the molds were taken out thank god.
He even gave me a cup of water to rinse in the sink and finally I was able to leave and go home.
Me and Charlie didn't talk that much because next week I was getting braces next week
