SHILOH POV
I roll out of bed and get up and get ready for school. I brush my teeth and get changed and out my hair in a side braid and head downstairs. Charlie was at the table on his laptop.
"Hey" I say
"Hey" he says
"What's up" I say grabbing a glass of orange juice.
He looks at me. "Busy day, all my new employees start today"
I take a sip of my orange juice then cringed
"What was that for?" Charlie questions
"Toothpaste and orange juice don't mix" I say
He chuckles
I finish getting ready and grab my bag and put on my shoes. Then go outside and wait for the bus.
I saw Jax waiting for the bus too he waved at me. The bus came we get on and Jax decided to sit with me.
"So where are you from?" I ask
"A few states away, me and Alex had a tough life over there so we decided to move" Jax explained
"Oh okay" I say
We arrive to school and get off the bus. I showed him to the office and showed him a round and helped him with his locker and schedule.
I also told him I was on the schools swim team
"Is there a boys swim team?" He asks
"It's all a big swim team" I state
"I love swimming could I join?" He asks
"You'll have to talk to my coach about that" I say
"When?" He asks
"Tomorrow since we have to go straight to the dental office after" I sigh
"Yea I don't like the dentist" he says
The day went by so fast. The bell to go home rang.
"I have a random question" Jax asks
"Well what is it" I say
"How long have you had braces" he says
"A while, I have to get them tightened soon" I say
"Oh, I had braces but recently got them taken off, my teeth weren't that bad" he says
"I wish mine weren't that bad but mine are pretty bad" I say
We walked to the new office it was pretty close to our school.
We walk in to this building.
It seemed a lot bigger
I spot Charlie and Alex talking
"Hello" Charlie says and smiles at us
"Hey" Alex waves to us
They approach us.
"So you want to meet the rest of the team?" Alex asks
"Sure?" I say not really wanting to meet new dentists
2 more people walked out assuming it was the other staff.
They both wave at us.
Charlie cleared his throat and points to me. "That is Shiloh my little sister"
"Oh nice to meet you" one of the men says
"Who are you?" I ask to that person
"Oh I'm Dr. Jason Lockwood" he says and smiles at me
Damn. He was cute
The other man began speaking.
"I'm Dr. Mike woods an orthodontist" he says and smiles at us
Jax whispers in my ear that he knew them for a long time and how Dr. Mike woods was his orthodontist.
"Also Shi, um your transferring on to dr. Woods instead of dr. Jones" he says
"But dr. Jones is my orthodontist" I say
"Yea but he's leaving this office sadly because of the big change, in the new office" Charlie says
"Awww" I pout
"Don't worry I'm excellent" Mike chuckles
"Well shi, I want to see Alex and Jason in action. I want Alex to give you an exam then Jason is gonna give you a cleaning then Mike here is gonna do your braces" Charlie explains
"Really? But you always do it for me" I whine
"I know but I want to see them in action" Charlie says
"Fine.." I sigh
"Jax um.. Charlie here is gonna give you an exam..." Alex says
"Why? Did I just have one" Jax complains
"6 months ago" Alex says
Jax rolls his eyes
"Let's head on back" Charlie said
All of us head on back to one of the exam rooms.
Man this was a big office
"Alex you could do Shi examination first" Charlie said
My jaw dropped
Alex nods and sits on the stool
