Today was the first day of school. I was so excited. I roll out of bed after my alarm goes off then grab some clothes and go to the bathroom and get ready and brush my teeth and do my hair.
I then head downstairs after I finish getting ready. Charlie was making breakfast he was wearing his scrubs as he was going to work after the bus comes and picks me up to go to school.
He gives me a plate of breakfast which was eggs sunny side up and some bacon. I loved bacon.
"Did you brush your teeth?" He asks
"Yes" I say
I finish my breakfast put the plate in the sink and get my shoes on and grab my bag and go outside to wait for the bus. The bus comes 5 minutes later. I get on the bus and sit down. Allison looks at me and smiles at me.
"Hey Shi how was your summer" she says
"Decent, how was yours?" I ask
She gets up and decides to sit next to me.
We chat a bit more and eventually got to school where I was greeted by Grace and Rosie. It looks like Rosie grew a little bit and Graces hair was longer. We didn't see each other much over the summer.
We go to the area to get our schedules and we have some classes together. We got our locker and combinations and stuff. The first bell rang and head to our first class. I had this class with Allison and grace. It was a good class. The next class was math class I didn't have my friends in this class sadly.
The rest of my morning classes went decently. It was finally lunch time. Me and my friends had lunch together. I had 3 more classes till the end of the day. My next class only Allison was in it. My 2nd class before my last class I had no friends in it sadly. I can't have my friends in every class. The last class I only had Rosie. It was science class. I loved science it was an interesting subject.
Finally it was the end of the day and we had a swim team meeting with coach. I was excited to start swim team again with my friends and other team mates. We make a great team. We might go to nationals in a year or two that's how good we are as a team.
Finally the meeting was over and we all go home. Charlie picks me up. I get in the car.
"Hey Shi how was your day?" Charlie asks
"Pretty good" I say
"Do you want to go out for a meal tonight?" He asks
"Sure" I say
"Where do you wanna go to eat" Charlie says
"Umm maybe how about our favorite buffet?" I say
"Sounds like a plan I'm starving" he says and drives to the buffet.
We arrive there and head in and the waitress seats us at our table and takes our drink orders.
We go up and get out first plate. I look towards the desert section. But I could feel Charlie has his eyes on me.
I grab my first few food items and go back to the table and began to eat. Charlie comes back with his plate of food.
After dinner we go home. I have Charlie sign some syllabuses for my classes and I put them back in my bag. I get ready for bed and brush my teeth and crash hard. I'm excited for school. I feel This year is gonna be a good year.
