Ch 28- new to the neighborhood

ALEX POV

Well it was that time to move again. I sold my practice and I came to here and working for a man called Charlie. Both me and Jason came here. Jax was excited for this move. We moved away from dad and stuff things started getting stressful with him again.

I'm going to meet this Charlie today. We arrive to our new home. It was a nice neighborhood in a small quiet town.

We started unpacking boxes and sorting out everything in our new home.

SHILOH POV

I was playing outside when I saw a moving truck across the street and two people. Someone who looked my age and another person who was older then me he looked to be in his 20's like Charlie.

There was a kid staring at me.

JAX POV

I just saw my across the street neighbor I know she doesn't live there alone.

"Hi!" I call and wave

SHILOH POV

did he just say hi. He was a cute looking boy let me tell you.
"Hi!" I call back

He walked across the street. "My name is Jax what's yours" he smiles

"I'm Shiloh.." I say shyly

I saw another person looking at me from across the street.

"Who is that?" I say and point to the person

"That will be my brother Alex. He's a dentist" he says

"Oh my so is my brother" I laugh

The Alex person walks across the street.

"Hi" he says

"Hi?" I say

I just met another dentist that just moved to my neighborhood.

"I'll get my brother his name is Charlie" I say and run into the house and bring out Charlie.

"Charlie there are our new neighbors Alex and Jax" I say pointing to them

"Alex Wilson?" Charlie questions

"Yea why?" Alex says

"I'm Charlie Stevenson, I'm the one who hired you at happy smiles" Charlie smiles

"Oh well nice to meet you Charlie! I'm looking forward to working with you" Alex beams

"How old is your son?" Charlie asks

"Oh no he is my little brother, he is 13 now" Alex states

"My sister is like 11" Charlie said

"I'm 11" I say

"Oh nice" Alex said

"We don't live with our parents because of alcohol" Alex says

"Oh shoot I'm sorry about that, we don't live with ours they were abusive especially toward Shiloh" I say

"That had to suck" Alex says

"Yea" Charlie said

Charlie and Alex chatted. Me and Jacob talked too.

Charlie invited them for dinner

Tomorrow was a new day.

It turns out Jax is gonna ride the same bus and everything and is in the same grade as me.

They left to go home after dinner.

"They were really nice" I said

"Yea, Alex isn't the only one I hired, I also hired his friend Jason Lockwood and his friend Mike woods an orthodontist" Charlie says

"Wow is your office big enough?" I joke

"Yea because I'm moving to a bigger office I bought and was there today setting it up" Charlie admits

"Oh" I say

"Yea, that means there will be 3 of us dentists and two orthodontists" Charlie says

"What happened to dr. Rowell" I ask

"He quit" he says

"Oh" I say

We chatted more and was told I need a checkup in a few weeks and need my braces adjusted..

Yay..

I went to bed after showering and brushing my teeth it's a school day tomorrow, I am supposed to go there after school to meet all of them.
