Ch 37- Alex and Shaun past

** flashback to when Alex and Shaun were in dental school together**

3 or 4 years ago

SHAUN

it was clinical day at the dental school. Me and Alex were partners. We were practicing checkups. It was Alex's turn.

Alex hopped in the chair our professor was watching over us. Alex was in a good mood.

"Alright Dr.Williams show me what Alex showed me" the professor says

I began by washing my hands and applying gloves and mask then positioning the light then reclining him back and put a bib on him.

I grab a mirror and explorer. And ask him to open.
He opened and I began. I wasn't very good at this I was failing this.

He starting getting uncomfortable.

"Stop" he says

I take my tools out.

"What's wrong" I ask

"It hurts you have to be gentle" he says

"I am" I say

"No you aren't" he growls

The professor looks at me. "Shaun please be gentle"

"I am he is lying" I say

"Just stop this is over Alexander you can go" the professor says

Alex rips the bib off and moves the light and turns it off.
"You suck at this you'll never be qualified " Alex says

I take my mask and gloves off.

"Shaun. If you don't practice you'll never graduate" the professor warns

"I do practice he is just a lying idiot" I say

"He was in pain I can tell your supposed to stop if they are in pain" he says

**graduation day**

It was almost my turn to graduate. Then they skip over me. I didn't graduate. I failed a lot of my things but I knew I was a good dentist. I had a young son at home with a babysitter.

I furiously left the school and never returned

It was all because of Alex. I hated him.

** time skip back to normal time**

I understood why Alex was still mad. I wanna retry to go to dental school. After not graduating he was a nerd.

I sigh

Jail time has had me thinking. To be honest. I wanna apologize to Alex and Jaxon.

I don't know where they are now and knew they still have a restraining order on me.

I look up Alex to see where he is now his new office.

3 1/2 hours away.

I also decide to apply to a dental school near there.

The next day I leave and move to the town they reside in.

I know I'm a little older for dental school but I wanna better myself. I will study harder and become a better dentist.

**2 weeks later**

School has started and I have a nice apartment not to far from my school. I think I was doing pretty well. I was studying harder.

I decide to find a real office to apply to. I was working at the college one for clinicals for students and my professor said I was like the best in class. I want to become an oral surgeon.

I think I'm gonna blow Alex away and become better then him.
