Well.. summer is almost over sadly.. I am going into the 5th grade..it's going to be my last year in elementary school then it's off to middle school... middle school is grades 6-8. Then grades 9-12 is high school.. I don't wanna be in high school.. but that's years away still.
I got about 1 week till school starts so me and Charlie are going school supply shopping and maybe the mall for new clothes.. I really enjoy the mall.... I was sleeping in it was only Monday.. school starts next Monday.. yay I'm excited but I'm not excited that I have to get up early again..
I woke up around 10 am and head downstairs.. Charlie wasn't here but I knew he was at work. I checked my phone and social media and sent streaks on Snapchat to my friends.
There was a text message from him on my phone
It read
' hey Shi I'm at work but after work we could go shopping'
'Yea totally' I texted
I set my phone down and open the cabinet grabbed my favorite cereal which was Rice Krispies, I mean I like other cereals but Charlie will not Buy the sugary stuff for me because you know he is a dentist.
I open the cabinet and grab a bowl and grab the milk out of the fridge, I pot my cereal in the bowl then my milk and put the milk away and grab a spoon and I began to eat breakfast.
Once I was finished I rinsed my bowl and spoon and placed in dishwasher.
I head upstairs into my bedroom. I grabbed some jean shorts and a striped crop top and headed to my bathroom where I took a nice shower.
Charlie usually gets home around 3 so I waited for him and cleaned my room then once I heard the door open downstairs I knew he was home.
I head downstairs and came face to face with Charlie.
"Hey!" I say
"Hey shi how was your day" he said
"Good" I say
"School is starting in a week that means another dental checkup" he says
"I thought we were going shopping" I say
"The checkup is not till later this week" he says
"Ohh.. are we still going shopping then?" I say
"Yea, get ready and we can go" he says
"Awesome" i say and put my shoes on and me and Charlie were off to the mall it was a 20 minute drive on the highway.
We finally arrive to the mall and we park in the 3 story car park and we walk in. The mall was awesome. It was huge with so many stores, a movie theater a food court and so much stuff to do.
The first store we go to it had a bunch of clothes. I picked out a bunch of cute stuff. Then we shopped around the mall where I found more clothes. After an hour of shopping we got lunch at the food court it was really good!
After lunch we shopped for a few more hours then we were all tired out.
We head to the car. "I still need school supplies"
"Oh, we will get those eventually" he says as he gets in the car.
We drive home and it begins to rain. It wasn't that bad and we arrive home. I go through all my clothes and hang them up in my closet.
We sat and watched movies for the rest of the day. We made a homemade pizza for dinner which was really good. Around 10 pm I fall asleep in Charlie's arms. He woke me up and told me to go get ready for bed.
I take a warm shower, brush my teeth put some comfy pajamas on and laid in bed and read some of my book before falling asleep.
I'm not excited for my checkup later this week but I am kind of excited to start school in a week
