Dream was in the closet, shivering. He could hear the footsteps. They sounded so loud, why did they sound so loud?! A tears fell, his voice acting out and singing the song connecting him and his soulmate together.

"Down by the bay~"

He sucked in a breath, realizing what he had done. But what he heard next surprised him.

"... Down by the bay.. ~"

Why was it echoed?! Only his soulmate should be able to...

"Where the watermelon rot.. ~"

He continued. Maybe he was just hearing things, his eyes widening at the echo.

Oh god. This murderer stepped into his house, with the intention to kill him, and it's his soulmate! But he couldn't help himself.

He slowly stepped out of the closet, noticing the person hadn't entered his room.

"If you go home~"

What was he doing? He should stay hidden!

But...

It's his soulmate...

It was closer now, the voice sounding like honey. He soon realized it was a female echoing him, a sort of teasing tone lacing her words.

"Just don't get caught...~"

He stepped towards the door, the door opening slowly. In stepped the female, black tears falling down her cheeks as she grinned mischeviously.
