The Ibans are the majority race in Sarawak. There are 4 main races, namely Iban, Malay, Melanau and the orang ulu. Orang ulu has many fractions that include all 24/27 ethnic groups in Sarawak.
Iban are also known as sea dayak people. Iban in Malaysia are Bumiputera status and also think part of the Malay archipelago.
Fun fact, is that Rentap (Agi Idup Agi Ngelaban) is an Iban from Sarawak. He was a local fighter who fought against Brooke's colonialists during his reign.
