Harry's look in this chapter. His hair in this picture literally sends me into cardiac arrest. Send help.

Don't get me wrong, I love Harry in his funky outfits, but there's something so adorable about casual Harry in a t-shirt.

Friday, September 25th

I stare at myself in the full mirror stretched to fit the entire wall and adjust my leotard. Martina, the owner of the dance studio watches me through the reflection, and I turn towards her as I stretch against the bar.

"So I called you in here today, Luna, because I want to offer you a solo spot in our recital at the end of December," she says, her kind brown eyes crinkling at the corners as she smiles.

Martina and her daughter Raina co-own the studio, and they are the kindest women I've ever met. They have both welcomed me and made this place truly a second home for me. I've performed in group numbers at their recitals in the past, but they've never offered me a solo. I feel honored, knowing they trust me enough to represent their studio.

I walk over to Martina and hug her, smelling her fruity perfume. "Thank you so much, Martina. I would be honored to dance for you," I accept.

She beams at me, delighted by my answer. "Perfect. You can work with one of our choreographers if you want or you can do it yourself. The theme of this recital is all about love and acceptance," she tells me. "You can pick any song, just send a file of it to me as soon as you can so I can approve of it."
