"This shit is all so fucking tacky!" Mack scoffs, scanning through the different costumes in the halloween shop. It's the 27th of October and Halloween is in 4 days. Mackenzie wants to do a costume together, but she has rejected every single one of my suggestions. "Like I'd never be caught dead wearing that," she adds.

"Oh will you chill!" I tease, swatting her arm. We always think of something last minute and it always works out."

She rolls her eyes and huffs, turning back to the costumes on the rack. "Ooh! How about I be Hugh Hefner and you be a Playboy bunny!" She squeals, pulling out a sexy leather bunny leotard.

I laugh and grab the costume from her, hanging it back on the shelf. "Why do you get to be Hefner?" I joke, earning a loud snort from Mackenzie. A family across the store looks over, giving us a dirty look. Mack raises her hand and I know she's going to flip them off, so I knock her hand down. "They have little kids, Mack!" I exclaim.

"Then they can learn a new useful gesture," she remarks, flipping her hair over her shoulder and returning once again to the wall of costumes.

All of the costumes on this particular wall were extremely... scandalous. Everything has the word 'sexy' in front of it, like sexy nurse or sexy firefighter. I don't really want a sexy costume to be honest. After the week I've had, I kind of feel like shit. Mack had to drag me here to even get a costume. We don't really have anywhere to wear them, we'll just end up making dinner and hanging out in our costumes. I don't know if I am going to Harry's show anymore on Halloween, I feel like I am unwelcome now. I want to support him more than anything, but I won't go unless I hear from him first. I know Mack dragged me here to cheer me up about not being able to go to the concert anymore, and I love her for it. But honestly, the last thing I want to do is squeeze my body into a tiny little costume.

"Mack, what if we just got regular clothes and made costumes out of them?" I suggest, pulling her attention away from the sexy dolphin costume.

"Like what?" She asks, intrigued by my idea.
