Wednesday October 14th.

At promptly 6pm sharp, I hear a gentle knock on the front door. I take one last look in my mirror and brush down the baby hairs that are sticking up on my head. I had decided since he is taking me out on what I am assuming is a cute date, I wanted to dress in a cute outfit. I had chosen a simple white slip dress, but layered a cream colored cardigan over top so I don't get cold. After throwing on chunky sneakers to juxtapose the girly dress, I was satisfied with the look. Then I stared at myself in the mirror overthinking my outfit choice for over half an hour waiting for Harry to arrive.

When I open the door, Harry is standing patiently holding a single pink peony in his hand. His lips are curled into a beautiful grin and he extends the flower to me. "Hello, beautiful," he greets in his low, raspy drawl.

"Hi, handsome," I greet back, smiling graciously as I take the flower from his fingers.

I've always considered flowers to be some of the most beautiful things in the world, next to sunshine, beaches, constellations, and butterflies. It's almost as beautiful as Harry, but not quite. It was so adorable for him to bring me a flower, but it surprises me a little bit that he brought me just one. He strikes me as the type of guy that would bring an entire bouquet of flowers.

As if he can read my thoughts he says, "It's synthetic, but it looks really realistic. It will last forever. I would've given you the entire bouquet tonight, but I'm saving each one for a different occasion."

I smile, adoring the way his cheeks glow red as he finishes explaining. As if I don't already admire this incredible man enough, he always manages to surpass the level of admiration I already hold for him.

"So... Are you going to tell me where we are going?" I ask him with a smirk. I already know the answer judging by the cheeky grin playing on his lips and the devilish look in his eyes, he's going to surprise me. I normally don't like surprises, mostly because I am afraid of things that are out of my control. However I trust Harry, and I know whatever he has planned for us tonight is going to be wonderful, I can't help the rush of excitement course through my blood and I can literally feel my skin glowing from the buzz of my nerves.
