You guys just are simply not ready for how cute this chapter is... if I do say so myself.
We sit in silence for what feels like forever, side-by-side, his large hand encompassing mine as he rubs smooth circles into my skin. The two of us are staring down, our gazes both locked on our intertwined hands. I admire the tattoos he has on his hand and arm, the t-shirt putting them on full display. I can't decide which is my favorite, he truly is a work of art, each dot of ink adding to the beautiful masterpiece.
"I never got to thank you in person for what you did for Mack," I say, breaking the looming silence. "I've never seen her so relieved and grateful in my entire life. You're her hero." Harry turns to look at me, his sharp features softening. He gives a small grin, a silent way of saying he's happy he could help her. I'll never forget how selfless he was to cut ties with his management so he could hire his lawyers. I can't believe it came to that; it baffles me still that someone would stand up for a rapist. "You don't know how much that meant to me," I add.
Harry turns back to face forward and he leans his head on my shoulder, the side of his large body sinking into mine. "I'm happy I could help her," he mumbles softly. "What Tyler did makes me sick." He nearly spits that last sentence, his voice like a low growl.
