Leotards come running towards me as the girls gather around and reach up to hug me goodbye. I smile down at all of their small buns and cheeky grins, wrapping my arms around the group.

"Bye, Autumn-ssaem!"

I lift both hands and wave bye, the girls leaving with their parents one by one. The crowd of parents outside the window disperses, leaving one person. Only his smiling eyes are visible, the rest of his features covered by a beanie and face mask. When everyone else has left, he finally opens the door and walks in, taking off his mask as he does so.

"Hello, Angel."

"Hobi," I say, matching his smile.

"How have you been?"

I rub my ear. "I've been okay."

"You're lying."

I really needed to stop rubbing my ear. "I've been okay, Hobi. Really. Just trying my best to stay positive. What about you?"

Hoseok tilts his head. "I've been okay."

I grin at him and stand up once I finish gathering my things. "You're lying."

He shakes his head and his smile grows. "Go ahead and get changed. There's a surprise I want to show you."

I tilt my head to the side and glance at him. "A surprise? What surprise?"

Hoseok laughs. "It wouldn't exactly be a surprise if I told you."

I shrug. "Sorry. My nonexistent brain cells decided to not work today. They're on a vacation." I flash him a final grin before turning around and crashing into the frame of a certain Jay Choi.

"Autumn."

I look up at my friend. "Jay."

"Where have you been? I feel like I barely see you anymore."

I rub my ear and stare down at my ballet flats.

"Ah." At the sound, I know that Jay has now spotted Hoseok in the studio. "Well in that case, I don't really mind. You can disappear from me."

I laugh and punch his arm.

"Yeah, sorry about that, Jay. Mind if I steal her for another weekend? In return you get to steal her during the weekdays."

"So it's like a date?"

I shake my head and behind me, Hoseok replies, "Yes."

A hand is placed on my shoulder and I rotate my head to look up at him. "Do I want this to be a date?"

Hoseok bends his neck to whisper in my ear so only I can hear. "Don't you?" he whispers.

I swallow hard and goosebumps ripple down my skin. "Do I have a choice?"

"Not really."

"Aren't dates supposed to be voluntary?"

"Not this one."

"Gosh, get a room you two," Jay mutters next to us.

Both of us turn our heads, having forgotten about his presence. "Technically, we would have already been in our own room if you hadn't decided to join us."

Jay's lips pucker into a pout. "That was mean. I was hoping liking someone would actually change you to be nicer."

I smile innocently and shake my head. "Sorry, dude. Not in this lifetime. Make sure you get reincarnated as the mean one in the next life, okay? Great, I'm going to get changed."
