Caden with a C left not too long after the third round. A girl had been calling him nonstop. I didn't wanna intrude, but my guess was that she was the girlfriend. He asked for my phone number and I gave it to him. I liked the guy; he was fun and innocent. A quality I really liked for some reason. I just hoped I wasn't leading him on. Deep in my heart, I think I was destined to be on my own forever. It never beat harder when I met someone. I was never nervous around anyone. My hands never got sweaty and my stomach never clenched with butterflies.
I guess I didn't want that to happen, either. That sounded terrible.
Walking out of my room in my birthday suit, the automatic lights in the apartment followed my movements. I opened the fridge and grabbed the orange juice, taking a big gulp from it. The music was still on, 'Slow dancing in the dark' by Joji creating the sensual mood that I was aiming for before. I walked towards the big glass wall in the living room and stared at the view. It was simply breathtaking. All those lights, all those skyscrapers, all that modern architecture. I couldn't stop comparing this city to Paris. It was so different.
I was so amazed by it that I didn't hear the door opening.
"Oh my god, he's naked." I turned around, hands resting on my hips, just to see Riley covering her eyes, a deep red blush creeping up her neck.
"For god's sake, Nico." Luca laughed and threw me a pillow from the couch. "I told you a million times, put some clothes on, you're not alone."
I scoffed covering my bulge. "Well, I was."
Luca told Riley that she could watch now, and she slowly opened her eyes. Another innocent girl right here. She was really cute and all. What a shame she had to meet this Brazilian God I had for a friend.
"Did you have company?" Luca asked. Riley went straight to the kitchen, making herself busy so that she didn't have to talk to me like that. She had already seen my scar, after all, she was my physiotherapist, so I knew she wasn't acting weird because of that. She really was shy like that.
"Yeah. He just left."
"Tu l'as baisé?" He asked in french, probably so that Riley wouldn't understand.
I smiled. "Quel cul, Luca, quel cul..."
"Je ne veux rien savoir, merci beaucoup."
"Are you making dinner?" I asked Riley, who had already all the ingredients she needed on the counter. She nodded with a smile, glancing at me for a second before blushing once again and staring down at the food. "Can I have dinner with you guys? I-" Luca, who had walked to the kitchen quickly, was making all kind of weird gestures behind her, shaking his head no. "Or I could just go to my room and order anything." I gestured behind my back with my thumb as I frowned, trying to decipher Luca's expression.
"Are you sure?" Riley asked.
"Yeah, I'll just do that."
The fact that Riley just didn't insist made me think that she was really hoping to get laid tonight, too. Girls don't say it, but I can feel it.
I ordered a vegetarian pizza and waited for it in my room as I played guitar and smoked a little. I was starting to feel like home in here and I really liked the unusual feeling.

Monday morning came faster than expected. I still had some paperwork to arrange if I wanted to live here, so I needed to move my beautiful ass from the bed. If only this mattress wasn't so comfortable.
I slept in. Like really slept in. I was incredibly late. Now I'd probably have to wait a long line if I wanted to have my papers in order. I contemplated not going. I contemplated being the immature boy I was sometimes and sleep some more. But I couldn't. I really liked it here. I couldn't delay this anymore. My father would actually take a plane just to cut my dick off.
