I made some cookies, they're in the oven. Luca, they're not for you, you're getting too 'healthy' lately. Nico, help yourself!

Love you guys, have a great day! xx

Riley :)

Luca gasped as he removed the note from the fridge. "She called me fat!" He put a hand on his chest.

I snorted. She did. She probably didn't do it because Luca was actually fat, but because she wanted me to eat more. I was getting really skinny and she was a little worried about me.

Although, to be honest, Luca was getting pretty big. He worked out a lot, but since he started dating Riley again, they've been eating like crap. Riley didn't gain any weight but he did.

I opened the oven, the mouth-watering smell hitting my nose. I grabbed the delicious cookies and put them on the counter, taking one and biting it slowly. "Mon Dieu. Your girlfriend has the hands of an angel." I smirked suggestively. "I wonder what else she can do."

"Don't talk about my girlfriend like that!" Luca exclaimed offended. "I can't believe she didn't make cookies for me." He pouted.

"Mec, she cleaned the whole apartment after the party and made some cookies. I think she had earned a place in heaven. Especially putting up with you."

"Yeah, you're right." He smiled and grabbed his red bottle of water from the fridge. "She's perfect, isn't she?" He sighed fondly. "I'm going to the gym. Wanna come?"

Like he always did, he asked just to be polite, I never went to the gym. I really should go, specially with all the home work Monsieur Grincheux gave me. Exercises for my hip and stuff, so I could improve my walking. I didn't do them, they hurt and I hated them.

But, maybe it was good that I spent a little bit more time with Luca. I needed to talk to him anyway, and, he was a physical therapist. Who better to go to the gym with than with him? He could help me. Maybe I could start getting fit and all that.

"Okay."

He frowned and looked at me surprised. "Really?"

I nodded.

"Oh, cool. Cool, cool." He seemed to process it and smiled widely, hugging me tightly. "Yes! Great! I'm so glad you're coming. I can help you with your exercises, we could start on the treadmill, maybe add some...."

I didn't listen to him, I let him talk excitedly. However, I hated that I had to change his mood with what could be bad news.

I was grateful that the gym was not that crowded on Sunday mornings. I was sweating like I think I had never sweated before when I stepped once again on the treadmill. Luca wanted me to walk for 15 minutes more. He was stretching this whole 'first time at the gym' thing, but I let him nonetheless.

"Hey, Luca." He stood beside me, changing the settings of the treadmill.

"Hmh?" He asked absentmindedly.

"I need to tell you something."

"I know you suck dick from time to time, I think we're already past that." He smirked, still staring at the dashboard.

I couldn't even laugh. I was nervous and I didn't even know how to start.

"It's not that... my... my therapist told me I might need surgery again."

This time he looked at me, unconsciously pressing a button and making me walk faster. I tried to keep up.

"Yeah, he told me the pain I have it's not normal, so I should go see a specialist."
